  1. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Rangers 1-3 Hibernian

Brief respite for Hibs as Joe Newell swings in a curling free kick from the right touchline. Nobody can get a touch on the dangerous delivery and it fizzes out beyond the far post.

Everything is coming down the right for Rangers now, with Joe Aribo and James Tavernier linking. Quite the introduction for Lewis Stevenson...

He doesn't look happy at being substituted, Ryan Kent. As much as he's been quiet, he's always capable of producing something. Him and Joe Aribo, those are the two players in Rangers jerseys that can make something happen.

  5. Rangers send for Sakalapublished at 60 mins

    Rangers 1-3 Hibernian

Now Rangers make a change and it's Fashion Sakala coming on for Ryan Kent.

Judging by the jeers, it sounds like the fans are not too happy seeing the winger withdrawn.

  6. Stevenson on for Doigpublished at 58 mins

    Rangers 1-3 Hibernian

Concern for Hibs as Josh Doig goes down in a heap.

It looks like Lewis Stevenson is coming on to take over at left-back.

The 33-year-old is the only Hibs player to have won both the League Cup and Scottish Cup, so not a bad replacement.

  7. 'Hibs smashing clearances away'published at 17:17 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Billy Dodds
Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Hibs have been sitting in and they've just smashed the clearances away. Right now, Rangers defenders are able to read it because they're just smashing it clear

  8. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Rangers 1-3 Hibernian

It's all Rangers at the moment as Hibs sit deep and try to soak it up.

The men and green and white just can't get a hold of the ball and it keeps coming back.

  9. 'Rangers need to find more crosses'published at 17:12 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Rangers 1-3 Hibernian

    Kenny Miller
    Former Rangers & Hibernian striker

    Quote Message

Every time Rangers put a cross in it forces Hibs to defend and they've not been dealing with it that well. Maybe Rangers need to put more crosses in and ask the Hibs defence more questions

  10. Postpublished at 48 mins

He might have been culpable for the Rangers goal but Ryan Porteous comes good with a tremendous sliding block to get himself in the way of a rocket shot from Glen Kamara at the edge of the penalty box.

Here we go again. Hibs were sensational in the first half. Can they keep it up?

I don't care if you're a youth coach. Somebody has to get some guidance to Rangers. They're getting an absolute doing. It could be 4-1 before you know it and the game's gone.

  15. 'Hibs front two toying with Rangers'published at 17:01 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    HT: Rangers 1-3 Hibernian

    Tom English
    BBC Scotland's chief sports writer

    Quote Message

Martin Boyle and Kevin Nisbet have just been toying with Connor Goldson and Leon Balogun. Balogun is having a shocker. On that form he would struggle to get a game for the local pub team. He has been absolutely ripped apart and Goldson is not much better. He's gone from this incredible leader they had last season to looking very vulnerable.

I know Giovanni van Bronckhorst doesn't start work until tomorrow but should the new Rangers boss be popping into the dressing room for a quick word?

It doesn't look like he's leaving the hospitality area.

  18. Another 10-goal thriller on the cards?published at 16:56 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    HT: Rangers 1-3 Hibernian

These two played a bonkers 5-5 draw at the end of the 2017-18 and I think Hibs were 3-0 up that day at Easter Road.

It was definitely 3-3 by half-time on that occasion before Rangers went 5-3 in front, only for Hibs to hit back again.

    Who saw this coming?

Hibs have lost four in a row and have been idle for almost a month after a Covid outbreak.

Will fatigue be a factor in the second half after such a long time without a game?

  20. HALF-TIME Rangers 1-3 Hibernianpublished at 45+3 mins

And breathe... An utterly hectic first half at Hampden is over and a Martin Boyle hat-trick has Hibs in command.

However, that Scott Arfield goal has given Rangers a ray of hope.
