Amid all the hulabaloo around the Champions League draw being voided there have been several Premier League news conferences taking place.

Including at Manchester City, who thought they were going to be (and still may) playing Villarreal in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Asked about the draw City boss Pep Guardiola said: "You want an assessment about the draw? It is going to happen again.

"It is fair. It was a mistake. These things can happen, to managers, players and Uefa too. It is fair. It would be a mistake not to repeat, there would suspicions."

Chris: In fairness to Uefa, it can be very difficult to pick some balls out of a pot, especially on their shoestring budget...

Ben: It’s good to see that on a big stage football can look at the admin rule book and admit they made a mistake and want to correct it.
