It does feel as if it's a matter of time. They aren't picking out the last man. They are completely dominating possession. Watching Gil just now, he could play for Manchester City. He looks that good a player. He thinks at a different speed.

They can breathe just for a moment. There was a period for about ten minutes where Morecambe looked comfortable but after that little chance it's given Tottenham a little lift. I think they have just about got there.

Having played in many third or fourth rounds, if you're playing against a lower league club you can get thumped. You can get away with a lot, referees may say you can't but you can.

A Tottenham corner from the right is a deep one and it finds Matt Doherty coming round the back and, from an extremely tight angle, he heads against the outside of the post.

Almost a stunning opener from Charlton's Elliot Lee!

Lee, to the left of goal, shifts the ball onto his right foot and tries to bend a shot into the far top corner. It's a great attempt and he's not far away at all.

We were talking about Bryan Gil before the game. He is a lovely player to watch on the ball, He has brilliant balance.
