  1. CLOSE!published at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Norwich 1-0 Crystal Palace

Norwich are playing well. Wilfried Zaha is getting it out wide but he's not causing problems.

It comes inside to Connor Gallagher but Kenny McLean robs it off him.

Milot Rashica then goes on another excellent run down the left, swings a good cross in for Teemu Pukki and he's denied a second by some solid defending from Tyrick Mitchell!

  2. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Southamptonpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

Jan Bednarek own goal (16 mins)

    Breakthrough.

I was just about to say, Spurs are finding their stride and the hosts do take the lead.

Lucas Moura's reverse pass is delightfully played onto the run of a Spurs man in the box, pulling the ball back for Son Heung-min in the six yards box.

But unfortunate Saints defender Jan Bednarek slides in and stretches out a leg to divert the ball into his own net.

Fraser Forster filled that goal and made it so difficult for Sergio Reguilon. What a fantastic save.

  4. CLOSE!published at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Aston Villa 0-0 Leeds

Philippe Coutinho backheels it down the line for Lucas Digne and Villa have a corner straight away.

It's met by Tyrone Mings at the near post and Illan Meslier reacts to make a crucial save!

  5. 'Psychologically it is difficult'published at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Man City 0-0 Brentford

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I've been in teams, like Brentford now, coming to teams like City when you are at the bottom of the table. Psychologically, you are thinking 'just settle them down, try and wait when we get an opportunity'. It is mentally difficult when you haven't got the ball; you've got to keep distance well but you need to believe you'll get a chance and just stay in the game.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Tottenham 0-0 Southampton

Great stop from Fraser Forster, standing biggg to deny Sergio Reguilon after the Spaniard was played in one-on-one by Harry Kane.

Should have gobbled it up though.

  7. Who needs a number nine?published at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Man City 0-0 Brentford

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

That was impressive from Raheem Sterling.

One of the smallest players on the pitch, he controlled a long, high pass from Phil Foden inside the Brentford half with a couple of defenders in close proximity.

He still had the strength to hold off his opponents until team-mates arrived.

It earned Sterling an ovation from the crowd.

    Tottenham 0-0 Southampton

    Jonathan Woodgate
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It looks like Cristian Romero has gone a yard too early but at least he was in there trying to get a goal. That's what I like to see but it was a good call, albeit a late one.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

I could do this all night, tbh.

  12. Postpublished at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Norwich 1-0 Crystal Palace

Wilfried Zaha steps inside off the left but drags his shot wide after a ricochet off Max Aarons.

  13. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Tottenham 0-0 Southampton

Spurs have the ball in the back of the net.

Cristian 'Cuti' Romero with a lovely diving header from eight yards out but it is chalked of for offside.

Good defensive line from Southampton that.

Romero tried the old Ruud van Nistelrooy routine, standing in an offside position, hopping back on before going again but just did not time it correctly.

  15. Postpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Norwich 1-0 Crystal Palace

Michael Olise drops deep to get involved for Palace. They are passing it around patiently but haven't created anything yet.

Jeffrey Schlupp tries a one-two on the edge of the box but Marc Guehi defends it well.

  16. Postpublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Man City 0-0 Brentford

76% possession so far or City, as you would expect, but they are yet to test David Raya.

Brentford are sitting back, looking to soak up the pressure and hit the hosts on the counter.

  17. Head-to-head statspublished at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

Aston Villa v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

Aston Villa have won only three of the past 15 league meetings (D6, L6).

Leeds, who triumphed 3-0 at Villa Park last season, can earn three consecutive away league wins against Villa for the first time.

  18. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Tottenham 0-0 Southampton

    Jonathan Woodgate
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is good to see both managers are sticking to their principles in terms of formations. Normally you see an away team trying to match up the opposition.

  19. CLOSE!published at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Tottenham 0-0 Southampton

Just a word from referee David Coote as Stuart Armstrong steps across Lucas Moura, who was looking to break clear.

From the free-kick, Harry Kane thinks 'why not?' from a very long way out but the ball skips up nicely into the hands of Saints goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

  20. Postpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Norwich 1-0 Crystal Palace

Teemu Pukki's goal after 38 seconds is the quickest scored in the Premier League this season.
