Danny Ward arrows a shot just wide of the target, after Sheffield United coughed up the ball to him on the edge of the box.

He didn't have too much by way of support, but his shot was decent in terms of power, if off-target.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Sheff Utd

Huddersfield break on Sheffield United, Sorba Thomas drags them up field, exchanges passes with Danny Ward and touches one off to Lewis O'Brien.

His shot deflects behind. The corner is pumped deep, but Blades clear.

Just before that, Sheffield United again got into good positions around the Town box, but the three-man defence and covering midfield is limiting the space.

Josh Koroma hits the accelerator to flash away down the left, and only the diving boot of Sheffield United defender Jack Robinson curtails his break.

Blades win it back from the throw in, they have certainly stemmed the Terriers' flow of late.

The movement of Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie and the vision of Jayden Bogle are causing Huddersfield problems.

Bogle hugs the right touchline and is threading some incisive passes.

John Fleck crosses from deep on the left, McBurnie gets his neck straining to connect but the ball loops just wide. Good effort and great delivery.

Terrific forward play from Billy Sharp, who darts onto a Jayden Boyle curling pass and then hooks the ball into the mixer.

Jack Robinson gives it a good old heave for Sheffield United, had to get there in time as Josh Koroma was lurking.

Great work from Jayden Bogle shortly after gives the Blades some territory, keeping a long ball in play.

The ball is swung in but cleared. The start of a purple patch for the visitors perhaps?

First save of the game and it comes from Huddersfield's Lee Nicholls.

Oli McBurnie rises to a Jayden Bogle cross at the back post, but his header is into Nicholls' palms.

It was better from the Blades, McBurnie running the channels to get them up the pitch and keeping them there by winning his headers.

Danny Ward heads toward goal from the edge of the box, but he was a fair way out and covered well by the Sheffield United defence. It bounces wide.

Huddersfield get the ball in the box from Josh Ruffels, but the former Oxford man can't hit a team-mate in there.

The home side have really dominated possession, squeezing up and forcing the Blades to play out from deep.

They need an outlet ball, but won't be panicking yet. Plenty of time to go.

Couple of lovely pirouettes in midfield takes Sheffield United's Morgan Gibbs-White away from trouble, but the final ball from the Blades just cannot release the lurking Billy Sharp or Oli McBurnie.

Chris Basham surges upfield, finds Gibbs-White, but again the Blue and White stripes get in to break it up, led by Jonathan Hogg.

Huddersfield are moving the ball through the lines smartly, with Lewis O'Brien linking midfield and Josh Koroma dropping deep into little spaces.

Sheffield United haven't been able to get the likes of Sander Berge, John Fleck or Morgan Gibbs-White involved so far.

Huddersfield attack down the right, Sorba Thomas and Jon Russell exchanging passes, but John Egan steps up to clear.

It's patient work from the Terriers as the ball finds Pipa, but the Spaniard thrashes high and wide from distance.

Sheffield United go route one, with a neat flick-on releasing Billy Sharp who holds up and touches back to George Baldock.

His cross is a good one, but Josh Ruffels manages to scuff it back to Lee Nicholls in the Town goal.

Huddersfield's own raid down the left sees a cross bent in which is easy pickings for Blades keeper Wes Foderingham.

Jon Russell is fouled in midfield, and Huddersfield load the box on the back of it.

It's a curling free-kick into the area, which Jack Robinson stoops to head behind.

Robinson then flicks away a cross as the corner comes in. Huddersfield squeezing on right now.

First chance for Sorba Thomas to stretch his legs for Huddersfield down the right as he stands up a cross, but Sheffield United hoist the ball clear.

The Blades get stuck in on the back of that, Billy Sharp goes in hard on Pipa, a little late. Another niggly free-kick conceded by the combative visitors.

Bit of a nervy moment for Blades keeper Wes Foderingham, who just about gets a clearance away under pressure.

Really interested to see who gets supremacy out wide today.

Looks like Pipa and Josh Ruffels will be bring the width from deep for Huddersfield, while Jayden Bogle and George Baldock do the same for Sheffield United.

Sorba Thomas will drift out too, might be a busy one for Baldock if the Terriers double-up.
