Jayden Bogle sweeps in a deep cross, which Lee Nicholls gathers under his crossbar.

It's a quick boom out to release Sorba Thomas, but the ball zips off the rapidly-soddening turf and out for a throw.

In the words of Alan Partridge at Marple - "It's raining!"

Huddersfield fail to make the most of a surge forward from Josh Koroma, who has Lewis O'Brien and Sorba Thomas up with him, but is crowded out amid his indecision.

He holds up a hand of apology.

Town scoot forward again, another ball releasing Thomas down the right, but his rolled cross somehow evades all the blue and white shirts in the area.

The big story of the half is the disallowed goal.

Officially, we're told it was a foul on the goalkeeper Wes Foderingham, as Danny Ward tumbled and brought him down.

That said, Ward was initially dragged down by George Baldock. If it wasn't a goal, was it not a penalty?

Only James Linington will know. And he said no.

Controversy at the break as Huddersfield Town have a goal disallowed by referee James Linington, who is greeted by a cordon of Town coaches and players as heads off the pitch.

Sheffield United looked like they might have gone behind when Jon Russell connected with a corner and buried his header past goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.

Danny Ward tangled with Foderingham on the line, having been dragged down by George Baldock. It was enough to see it chalked off.

Otherwise, not too many chances, but a fiercely competitive game regardless. Town had moments, Blades too. All square. Just.
