  3. Postpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Preston 0-0 Nott'm Forest

Preston threaten as Daniel Johnson tees up Cameron Archer but his shot is well saved by Ethan Horvath.

Moments later the Aston Villa loanee powers a shot wide.

  4. Postpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Bristol City 0-1 Coventry City

And a good save up the other end from Dan Bentley to keep it at 1-0 Coventry.

Callum O'Hare weaved his way past a couple of challenges before taking a shot but Bentley did well to keep it out with his body.

  5. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Middlesbrough 0-1 West Brom

The home side make a double change after 55 minutes.

Neil Taylor and Folarin Balogun are withdrawn and Duncan Watmore and Andraz Sporar are on.

Arsenal loanee Balogun hardly had a kick up top for Boro.

  6. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Bristol City 0-1 Coventry City

Bristol City have come out fired up seemingly in this second half.

Han-Noah Massengo goes close with a couple of back-to-back chances.

A shot that is initially blocked by the body of Kyle McFadzean before he then fires wide on the follow-up.

    Middlesbrough 0-1 West Brom

West Brom are on top here and you feel a second goal would kill the game off.

Boro are pushing for a play-off spot but have scored just 39 goals so far this season.

That's the same as 22nd-placed Reading.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Bristol City 0-1 Coventry City

Close for Bristol City to a leveller!

Alex Scott with the outswinging free-kick from the right that Antoine Semenyo thunders a header unmarked towards goal and it cannons off the top of the crossbar.

  9. Postpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Middlesbrough 0-1 West Brom

Neil Taylor's header away is a poor one and West Brom striker Andy Carroll fancies it on the volley.

He makes decent enough connection but it's a comfortable gather for Boro goalkeeper Joe Lumley.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

Aside from at Reading and at Bolton, we're starting to get back under way for the second halves this evening.

    Reading 0-0 Birmingham City

Still around eight minutes until half-time in this one.

Birmingham upping the ante and causing some alarms in the Reading defence.

Lyle Taylor heads narrowly over the crossbar and just before that Juninho Bacuna and Onel Hernandez sent dangerous-looking low balls across from the left and right into that corridor of uncertainty.

But then Reading go up the other end - Junior Hoilett's diagonal ball from the left for Tom Ince to race on to on the half volley but he can't keep the shot under the crossbar.

  15. Play to resume at Sunderlandpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Sunderland 0-0 Burton

Play will restart in about five minutes at the Stadium of Light following a medical emergency in the crowd.

The game will have been halted for about 50 minutes in total.

The supporter has now been taken to hospital we're hearing.

We'll provide you with more updates when we get them.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Preston 0-0 Nott'm Forest

Decent game at Deepdale but no goals so far.

Both teams have had chances so I expect the deadlock to be broken in the second half.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Bristol City 0-1 Coventry City

Coventry's play-off pursuit looking in good shape as it stands at the break at Ashton Gate.

Ian Maatsen with the fine finish midway through the half and the Sky Blues have had other chances too.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Middlesbrough 0-1 West Brom

West Brom have their first goal since 22 January.

Jayson Molumby's strike was a bit scruffy but I can't imagine anyone connected to the Baggies will care very much.

Middlesbrough, with just 39 league goals so far this season, have looked a bit toothless themselves this evening.

A win would send them sixth.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Hull 0-2 Barnsley

Barnsley celebrate goalImage source, Rex Features

Do not adjust your computer/tablet/mobile phone, Barnsley really are 2-0 up at half-time.

The Tykes went ahead through Callum Styles and Carlton Morris doubled their money just before the break.

This would be a first away win of the season if they can get it over the line.

  20. Postpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Reading 0-0 Birmingham City

Reading with a decent chance again, but John Swift fails to hit the target with a direct free-kick just outside the box.

Junior Hoilett's surging run through the middle had set it up before he was tripped.
