    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

I'm seeing a few people eating what looks to be homemade sandwiches at Ewood Park.

I've got a lot of time for that. When I was a lad, my mum used to send me to matches with a sandwich and a flask of tea before I graduated to spending a fortune on a balti pie at every game.

Meanwhile, Moses Odubajo catches Sam Gallagher with an arm to the face. Not intentional by the looks of things, but there's a break while he receives some attention.

  2. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

A reminder, if you're not already aware, that Blackburn's talismanic striker Ben Brereton Diaz is out injured so isn't on the field today.

Blackburn need goals in his absence. It's an even start so far in the first few minutes as both sides get themselves going.

  3. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

A big match gets going at Ewood Park.

Two sides that could do with three points to further their promotion ambitions.

  6. A meeting of out-of-form sidespublished at 12:21 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2022

    Blackburn v QPR (12:30 GMT)

    Andy Bayes
    Reporter, BBC Radio Lancashire

This is a meeting of two sides who haven’t had a great deal of success in February.

QPR got back to winning ways during the week, but Rovers have gone a club record five league games without a goal and will again be without the firepower of 20-goal striker Ben Brereton Diaz.

A home win sees Rovers reclaim third spot but, if they lose, they could drop out of the top six for the first time in more than a couple of months with results later in the day.

  7. A crucial 90 minutes for both sidespublished at 12:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2022

    Blackburn v QPR (12:30 GMT)

Here's how the top six of the Championship look coming into today's fixtures and it was a night of contrasts for QPR and Blackburn in midweek.

The Rs were reduced to 10 players after Dion Sanderson was sent off but weathered a storm from Blackpool to win late on and move up to third in the table.

Blackburn slipped to fifth after QPR and Huddersfield won after their late defeat by Sheffield United - who are now a point behind them in sixth with a game in hand - which came after Reda Khadra saw a second half penalty saved.

This is a big game as we approach the final stages of the season and Tony Mowbray's side could do with a win today to keep up their promotion hopes.
