It doesn't matter how you get the win.
You're coming into the period where it's all about the hunger, desire and ugliness of the game.
That's a magnificent victory for Blackburn, against a QPR team that are challenging alongside them.
Blackburn 1-0 QPR
Blackburn end their winless run and goal drought as Reda Khadra's curling free-kick gives them victory against QPR.
That lifts them above the Rs and back into third position in the Championship table.
Blackburn 1-0 QPR
Blackburn are about three minutes away from ending a run of five Championship games without a win, here.
This will be quite the response if they see it out.
Blackburn 1-0 QPR
Six minutes added on.
Six minutes for QPR to avoid defeat and avoid being leapfrogged by Blackburn in the table.
Blackburn 1-0 QPR
Blackburn goalscorer Reda Khadra is called in to clear away a QPR corner.
Meanwhile, Rovers keeper Thomas Kaminski goes into the book for dissent.
Blackburn 1-0 QPR
Stavros Makro: Reda Khadra missed two sitters and then scores almost from the corner flag. That's football.
Blackburn 1-0 QPR
Ryan Hedges plays a long ball in towards Ryan Giles as Blackburn go on the attack again just a minute or do after Giles forced a save out of David Marshall but there's too much on it.
Blackburn keep it alive soon after though and QPR look on the ropes, here.
Blackburn 1-0 QPR
Tyrhys Dolan tries to get Blackburn's second of the afternoon with a long-range drive but he forces a great diving save from David Marshall.
Meanwhile, Lewis Travis goes into the book for a sliding challenge on Rob Dickie.
Blackburn 1-0 QPR
Over eight-and-a-half hours since Blackburn scored and Reda Khadra ends that in style.
Question is, with 10 minutes left on the clock and possibly a fair amount of injury time, can they hold on?
Andre Gray almost gets a leveller for QPR but he can't tap in from close range before Thomas Kaminski scoops up the ball.
Blackburn 1-0 QPR
Just looking at that Reda Khadra goal, that is an immense finish.
He puts a great deal of pace on it and smashes it home from a really tight angle.
Should David Marshall have had that covered? Possibly. But take nothing away from Khadra, that's a corker of a goal.

When you're taking a free-kick like that you've got to hit the target, that's all you can ask. That's what Reda Khadra's done.
You think he might've got subbed but he's the one who's been getting the opportunities.
He's just played it into an area, but it's such a great cross that if everybody misses it it's going into the back of the net.
Reda Khadra
Blackburn play the corner short and Sam McCallum concedes a free-kick to the hosts soon after.
Reda Khadra stands over the free-kick, yards away from the corner flag, and he curls it home.
Superb finish. You can feel the relief inside Ewood Park.
Blackburn 0-0 QPR
Ryan Giles looks dangerous every time he's near the ball for Blackburn and he does well to find a chance on goal after some good work from Reda Khadra in the QPR half in the build-up.
Giles puts a cross in which forces a save at the near post from David Marshall and Blackburn win another corner.
Blackburn 0-0 QPR
QPR win the ball and go on the attack in the Blackburn box but, after a succession of deliveries, they can't quite get a chance on goal.
Neither side can get a decent shot in at the minute.
Is this destined to end goalless?
Blackburn 0-0 QPR
Harry Pickering comes off for Blackburn with Wolves loanee Ryan Giles coming on for the hosts.
Twenty minutes of normal time remain.
Blackburn 0-0 QPR
Jeff Hendrick looks to tip a ball inside the box towards a crowd of QPR teammates to his left.
But his lobbed effort goes onto the roof of the net.
Blackburn 0-0 QPR
Another set of substitutions.
QPR send on Sam McCallum for Albert Adomah.
Meanwhile, Blackburn bring off Sam Gallagher and bring on Ryan Hedges.
Blackburn 0-0 QPR

I don't see a goal coming at the minute.
It's two teams that are defensively organised - you're seeing both teams create chances, but there's no-one prolific there that you think 'they'll score'.
Blackburn 0-0 QPR
End-to-end stuff now as both sides exchange long balls.
There's a definite tense feeling in the air and we could be in for a thrilling finale here.
Seems a miracle it's still goallless.
