Rachel Daly is next to run at Germany's defence. Not for the first time, Jule Brand goes in hard with a challenge. She is shown a yellow card and England have a free-kick about 35 yards out and right in front.

Nikita Parris has been bright since coming on. She has Giulia Gwinn backtracking and is brought down. It's a free-kick for England from wide on the right.

Fran Kirby and Ellen White link up wonderfully well again. These two have developed an excellent partnership. Kirby, however, has her effort blocked, but it is a warning shot.

It's terrible double miss from Germany.

Dallmann cuts the ball back, Lea Schuller miscues what would have been a tap in after the ball was first missed by Rall at the front post.

At first glance I thought it was an excellent tackle. Watching it back, that's really good defending from Rall. Parris just dangles out a leg, but Rall's recovery to get back is really, really strong.

It's a double chance for Germany now.

Fabienne Dongus and goalscorer Lina Magull are replaced by Chantal Hagel and Linda Dallmann.

There are half-hearted shouts for a penalty around the stadium.

Nikita Parris runs at Maximiliane Rall, but the German times her tackle brilliantly well.

England give the ball up cheaply on the edge of the area and and invite a little trouble. Lina Magull's eyes are darting around looking for options.

She considers a shot, but eventually plays the ball backwards and the chance is gone.

England are again looing dangerous. Rachel Daly tries to find Ellen White at the back post, but Germany's defence scrambles to snuff out the danger.

England are trying to play a lot quicker. Then when Germany think they're going to start going wide, they can find Georgia Stanway between the lines, or over the top to Ellen White. There's just a bit more variance to their attack now.

Georgia Stanway goes off to be replaced by Nikita Parris.

It's a big save from Germany goalkeeper Merle Frolms as Lauren Hemp peels free of her marker in the box. The flag, however, is up for offside.

There are gasps of anticipation across Molineux as Lauren Hemp runs though the middle of Germany's resistance. She threatens to shoot, but chances her mind. The attack then breaks down and the chance is gone.

England have started the half really well. Lauren Hemp and Lucy Bronze are getting in behind down both wings.

It's just that final ball that Saina Wiegman said pre-match she wanted England to improve on.

The stadium announcer has also confirmed there are 13,463 in attendance at Molineux.

Jule Brand is a little over zealous trying to gain possession from Keira Walsh.

The free-kick doesn't amount to anything, and even a raid from Lucy Bronze which is blocked ends up coming off the England defender for a goal kick.

Lauren Hemp takes control of a ball over the top deep in the left corner.

She zigs past Maximiliane Rall, then tries to beat Fabienne Dongus. Her cross is eventually blocked by Sophia Kleinherne for a corner.

It's positive from the hosts, but nothing comes of the ensuing corner.
