Ben Mee makes a big mistake with a short pass, Pedro gobbles it up, it's two-on-two and King would have been slipped through in the box but the pass sends him wide.

Moussa Sissoko gets back to block Connor Roberts' cross and he turns to his team-mates, immediately calling for them to switch on.

Roberts was offside anyway but not by much and Burnley were in behind.

It's a scramble in the air on the edge of the Burnley box and Josh King eventually wins one which falls for Joao Pedro.

He cuts onto his right foot and tries to get a shot off but it's blocked.

Both sides have had two big chances now.

James Tarkowski doesn't want Watford having another one here as he brings down Joao Pedro.

Joao Pedro has Ken Sema to his left but he tries to poke it through to Josh King. Burnley have too many players back and can deal with it comfortably.

Within seconds of kick-off, Wout Weghorst is in after he flicks it past a defender in the box.

Hassane Kamara gets a crucial block on, it bounces awkwardly off the top of the crossbar with Ben Foster scrambling, then Edo Kayembe makes a stunning clearance to prevent the rebound from going in!

Both teams need a win. We'll have a goal, surely?

It's been very Burnley v Watford.

As you can see from the heatmap, there's been a lot of balls being contested just over the halfway line.

Watford definitely finished the half stronger and were starting to get at Burnley's defence fairly regularly.
