Wout Weghorst takes far too long to shoot and it's nicked away from him just in time! Burnley keep it going on the edge of the box via Dwight McNeil, before Craig Cathcart heads away a dangerous cross which was aimed at Weghorst.

Another nice Watford move as Juraj Kucka slides it through to Joao Pedro in the box. He's in space and has Josh King in the middle but his cross is terrible!

He knows it too. Watford keep it alive on the far side.

Watford will be out of the bottom three with a win.

Roy Hodgson is getting absolutely drenched. He is stood rubbing his hands to try and warm up but he's given an excuse to applaud his side as they make good ground down the right before the cross is skewed.

Connor Roberts feeds it down the line, looking for Maxwel Cornet but it's far too heavy.

The game has been lacking in chances but it's definitely competitive. Ben Foster isn't in a rush to take this goal kick either.

Wout Weghorst wins the header and holds it up well to earn a throw-in off Edo Kayembe. He's ticking all the Burnley boxes so far. Doing a good job.

Josh King is penalised for a foul on James Tarkowski just as he thought he'd sent Joao Pedro on his way.

King is in disbelief but the referee brandishes him a yellow card too. Seemed a bit harsh!

Joao Pedro robs it on the edge of the Burnley box. He links up with Josh King in a one-two, steps past one defender and swings his foot to shoot but James Tarkowski comes in with a brilliant last-ditch tackle. Wonderful defending! Nice trickery from Pedro too.

Samir blocks it and it's another Connor Roberts throw. It falls for Dale Stephens but he slices it into the roof of the stands.

Those fans are keeping dry at least.

Connor Roberts' long throws are testing Watford's defence. They are heading everything away at the moment but it's coming straight back at them.

Another Roberts throw-in falls to Erik Pieters on the edge of the box but his strike is deflected wide. That wasn't far away...

With Maxwel Cornet's trickery and Wout Weghorst's strength, Sean Dyche may have found something that works.

The early signs are promising.

Debutant Wout Weghorst nods it on for Maxwel Cornet. He gains a yard in the box and fires one towards Ben Foster.

The Watford keeper has to react to palm it behind for a corner.

Joao Pedro carries it through the middle as Watford have their first attack on the break. Josh King is ahead of him but he's quickly surrounded by Burnley defenders and can't poke it through.

Watford haven't got out of their half yet. It's been a really positive start from Burnley. They just look sharper.

Connor Roberts launches a long throw into the box. It's won by two Watford defenders before Aaron Lennon is tackled by Hassane Kamara.

He needed to time that right...

Craig Cathcart slips and Wout Weghorst is almost in. Kiko Femenia reacts to sprint back and coolly pokes it on to his keeper to clear.

Wout Weghorst's first touch is to play it back under pressure. Burnley have started well though. Dwight McNeil squeezes a shot in a few moments later, but it's way wide.

Moussa Sissoko heads it away initially but Maxwel Cornet does well to keep it alive on the edge of the box.

It's curled back in, headed away again, but Watford can't break because Sissoko trods on the ball instead of taking it with him.

Hassane Kamara is hassled by Aaron Lennon in the corner. It pays off too as Burnley win a free-kick near the sideline.
