  1. Rangers ready to bounce back?published at 19:16 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2022

    Rangers v Livingston (19:45)

Rangers dropped points for the first time under Giovanni van Bronckhorst up in Aberdeen last week but the champions, unbeaten in 30 home league matches, will be strongly fancied to get back to winning ways this evening, even if they are missing some key men up front.

Livingston have never won at Ibrox and have lost their last 12 top-flight visits to Govan, including a one-sided 3-0 reverse on the opening day of this campaign.

  2. Saints' poor form a puzzlepublished at 19:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2022

    St Johnstone v Dundee (19:45)

It's cruel to kick a team when they are down but it's worth remembering St Johnstone pulled off a remarkable cup double last season and held Galatasaray and LASK Linz to draws away from home in August in European qualifying.

I don't think anyone saw this collapse coming.

  3. Can St Johnstone solve goal-scoring problem?published at 19:11 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2022

    St Johnstone v Dundee (19:45)

St Johnstone haven't won a game since the end of October.

Saturday's shock Scottish Cup loss at Kelty Hearts was their 10th defeat on the spin.

Manager Callum Davidson will be demanding a response and a fourth victory of the season would lift them above Dundee, who are on a wretched run themselves.

James McPake's side have lost six in a row in the league and were not at all convincing when getting past 10-man Dumbarton in the cup at the weekend.

Saints' big problem is scoring, with only 11 goals in 21 Premiership games but they can take heart from the fact they have won six of their last seven home league matches against their Tayside rivals.

  4. Hearts seek rare double against Celticpublished at 19:09 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2022

    Hearts v Celtic (19:45)

Hearts turned Celtic over on the opening weekend of the season, with John Souttar grabbing a late goal in a 2-1 win.

The Edinburgh side have been consistent this term, losing just once on their own patch.

However, they have lost twice at Celtic Park since, in the League Cup and the Premiership, and have not managed back-to-back home league wins over tonight's visitors since 2006.

Celtic are on a 15-match unbeaten league run (W12, D3) and won't want any slips after making up some ground on Rangers last week.
