Alarm bells for Arsenal as an attempted clearance by Aaron Ramsdale goes straight to a Watford player who is quickly crowded out. That could have been awkward.

It's a really good game of football. Watford have played their part but Arsenal have been class, the way they have moved the ball.

Mikel Arteta will have delivered a very positive team talk at half time.

I don’t think Ralf Rangnick is going to change anything that drastically. He seems to have his mind set on that pressing game, he wants Manchester United to work.

To play his way, I think they need a few windows. You need to work so hard as a unit and as a team. When I look at United, that’s sometimes the weakness. One or two fall out of it and all of a sudden, you go through them.

    Rene Meulensteen
Former Manchester United coach on BBC Radio 5 live

The problem I have with Manchester United and the size of the club - it is probably a lesson for Man City and Liverpool when Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp leave, they have to manage that in advance - Man Utd have never done that. They are in a position of uncertainty; with uncertainty comes speculation. [Mauricio] Pochettino is known, [Carlo] Ancelotti's name has come up, and others like [Erik] Ten Hag, which is understandable because of his philosophy.

The challenges are far bigger than just saying 'bring Ten Hag in and it'll work'. The biggest challenge for anyone coming in is to try and picture a team in two years' time that is going to compete with City and Liverpool for the title. I can't. I see too many changes coming up over the next two seasons. There are five or six players who are over 35 so they won't be there. Massive changes need to happen. Who is the best guy to do it? If they decide Ten Hag, he's got the right ideas but Man Utd is a massive animal to manage.

I don’t care if you’re 19 or 20 points ahead. When it comes to a derby of this stature, it doesn’t matter. It’s the pride of the city. It’s that big.

On a match day, it doesn’t matter about points and performance. It’s about how much you want it on the day.

Watford haven't really responded since conceding a second goal. It's not for lack of effort. It's just that Gabriel Magalhaes and Ben White are proving a strong presence at the heart of the Arsenal defence.

Saka's a joy to watch. Incredibly proud as an Arsenal fan that we provide academy grads like him for kids to emulate.

Watford's issue is being 100% in the game for the full 90 mins. This will be an interesting game because, for all Arsenal's quality, that's recently been their problem too. But Arteta is starting to rectify that.
