Sadio Mane could play Mo Salah in and Salah would score, I’m sure he would. But he just passes it back to the goalkeeper.

    Jurgen Klopp nearly fell over.

That's a straight red anywhere else on the field!

    David, Marske.

If that’s upfield he gets sent off. Why do they never give fouls or cards if the attacker gets a shot off before he’s clattered?! It’s still late and still a foul!

    Brighton 0-1 Liverpool

    Andy Reid
Ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I don’t think it should be double jeopardy for Brighton there. If he doesn’t score, fair enough, but the referee allows play on and I think Robert Sanchez should stay on the pitch.

Luis Diaz is very brave for going for that. I wouldn’t have stuck my head on that.

Luis Diaz doesn’t take his eye off the ball – he doesn’t know the goalkeeper’s coming until the last second.

It’s a fabulous header, a great run between the centre-halves and a great pass. It’s a fabulous goal.
