A huge game coming up after this as Tottenham entertain London rivals West Ham at 16:30 GMT. A red hot contest is any circumstance but with the added spice both teams cannot afford to lose in the race for the top four.

It is well deserved for Leicester. Timothy Castagne's goal has to be up there for goal of the season. It is fantastic for him with his comeback, he looked a little bit rusty for the first 10 minutes but has been excellent since.

And then what technique from James Maddison. Leicester have been dominant and fully deserve their two-goal lead.

I'm a big fan of Ivan Toney but when he gets starved of service he does tend to come deep and then when Brentford do win the ball back they have no real focal point.

There was nothing in this game for the first 15-20 minute but Leicester have been well on top since the first goal went in.

James Justin is denied from close range after a lovely threaded pass. Brentford need half-time.

Leicester are really up for this. They're working hard off the ball and are looking to get a third goal before half-time.

    Leicester 2-0 Brentford

For all their inconsistencies and injury problems this season, Leicester are on course for a fourth straight home win in all competitions.

  10. CLOSE!published at 39 mins

So close to 3-0 but Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall drills it just wide. Brentford are all over the place.

That second goal has knocked the stuffing out of Brentford. It's a long way back for the Bees now especially without Christian Eriksen.

It is an absolutely outstanding free-kick from James Maddison. What a treat we are having with those two goals. It was great technique.

You could have had two goalkeepers in the Brentford goal and they would not have got that.

    Leicester 2-0 Brentford

This match s turning into a Leicester City Goal of the Season contest.

The Foxes have had a nightmare conceding set-pieces this season. Maddison just scored one of the best set-pieces in the Premier League this season.

    Brilliant free-kick!

James Maddison picks himself up off the floor to fire an outstanding set-piece over the Brentford wall and into the top corner.

The King Power erupts. Leicester are in control thanks to two excellent finishes.

James Maddison wins a free-kick within scoring range after getting his body in front of Mathias Jensen before going down. This is in an inviting position.

    Leicester 1-0 Brentford

    Paul Dickov
Former Leicester City striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Timothy Castagne absolutely rifled his shot into the top corner, David Raya had no chance.

Leicester attacking wise, if they are going to get anything it is from those wide areas because Brentford are so resolute down the middle.

    Leicester 1-0 Brentford

Brentford are finding pockets of space in and around Leicester's box but Kasper Schmeichel has only been tested once.

  18. Postpublished at 27 mins

    Leicester 1-0 Brentford

There's something about Leicester players coming back from injury and scoring. Wesley Fofana did it in Europe on Thursday and now Castagne has done it. No pressure on Jonny Evans should he come off the bench later to make his first appearance since 12 December.

  19. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Leicester 1-0 Brentford

That was Timothy Castagne's first goal for almost a year. His last one was the first in a 2-1 home win over Crystal Palace last April. The fans certainly loved it. A great goal to mark your comeback.

  20. CLOSE!published at 23 mins

    Leicester 1-0 Brentford

Brentford respond immediately through Mathias Jensen but Kasper Schmeichel is well placed to make the save.

After a slowish start, this is turning into a decent contest.
