    Apologies to fans of both teams for this, but the league table is a sure-fire indicator of the task ahead for both Peterborough and Reading over the next few months.

    Having had an unexpected Boxing Day off for the postponement of the initial game, Peterborough and Reading finally get their festive Championship face-off under way in, er, February.

    The turkey leftovers are long gone and I doubt there will be much seasonal goodwill between the two sides, what with the precious need for points.

    Yep, a clash of the Posh and Royals might sound particularly grand, but the reality is a little more different at present.
