Hibs have just announced the signing of Sylvester Jasper, and it also emerges that Jamie Murphy has gone on loan to Mansfield Town until the end of the season.

We promised another Hibernian signing, and here he is.

Sylvester Jaspey joins on loan from English Championship side Fulham. The 20-year-old has been capped for England U15s and Bulgaria U21s.

“Sylvester is a talented young player that possesses a lot of creativity and speed," says manager Shaun Maloney. "He gives us extra options and can play on both the left and right in attacking areas."

So the bad news is, if your club hasn't started the paperwork by now then, that's it, no more business until the summer.

The good news is they may have done it but just not told anyone yet, or haven't quite finished filing it yet, and because of that I'm going to sit here until 1am with my Tiramisu and wait for the announcements.

Former Scotland international Robert Snodgrass is now a free agent after being released by West Bromwich Albion.

Could the 34-year-old be on his way back to Scotland? As a free agent he doesn't have to be signed by midnight.
