    We feel your pain Erin.

The Dons have brought in winger Vicente Besuijen from Den Haag, USA midfielder Dante Polvara, and earlier this evening Celtic's Adam Montgomery arrived at Pittodrie on loan.

But with Stephen Glass' side currently sixth in the Scottish Premiership there was hope of a few more faces, especially with Ryan Hedges departing for Blackburn Rovers.

As the clock ticks away to midnight it's all quiet in the Granite City.

  2. No more business at Tynecastlepublished at 23:10 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2022

Hearts are done for the night it appears.

That also means John Souttar will have an Edinburgh derby to prepare for this week rather than a Glasgow one.

  3. Daley-Campbell signs for Dundeepublished at 23:06 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2022

Worth staying up for Dundee fans?

The 20-year-old full-back has been capped at youth level for England.

It's not been a bad transfer window for the Dees - with Niall McGinn, Zak Rudden and Jay Chapman all arriving.

  8. 'We see Aaron as a leader' - Wilsonpublished at 22:45 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2022

Rangers director of football Ross Wilson says he was made aware of the possibility of signing Aaron Ramsey a week ago.

“We have worked really hard to secure his signature," Wilson tells the club's website.

“Not only is Aaron a world-class player who will play a key role in our team, his level of ability and professional standards will be an inspiration to our existing players.

Ramsey has penned a six-month loan deal with Rangers

“We see Aaron as a leader, a quality player and a wonderful character to bring into our club. I’ve admired his career since his emergence at Cardiff and across Arsenal, Juventus and with Wales.

“Juventus and Aaron had many significant offers from elsewhere and we are delighted that he has chosen Rangers.

“Any agreement we reach has to be within our normal wage model and Aaron’s desire to play here has enabled us to achieve this with Juventus’s cooperation.”

    Breaking

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland

Midfielder Alex Gogic will join St Mirren on loan until the end of the season.

This will see out his contract with Hibernian.

However, Scott Allan will remain at the club for the rest of the season.

The former Celtic man had a number of opportunities put to him but has decided to stay at Easter Road and will be in the squad for the Edinburgh derby tomorrow.

Still a chance of more moves across the country with over an hour before the deadline.

  18. 'Juventus subsidising Ramsey's wages'published at 22:10 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2022

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has been discussing the situation around Aaron Ramsey's wages.

"Our colleagues at Sky Italy are telling us he earns about £200,000 a week before tax," Solhekol says on Sky Sports News.

"There's no way Rangers can pay that. The highest paid player in Scotland probably earns about £40,000 a week.

"It looks like Juventus are subsidising these wages. If he's match fit, he could make his debut against Celtic."

  20. 'We don't need Ramsey'published at 21:59 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2022

    Tweet @BBCSportScot to join debate

UpBeatDigitalArt: Rangers have been mince for most of the season. We don’t need Ramsey, we need a couple of decent strikers and a central defender. We have plenty of midfielders but they are not scoring enough.

Controversial opinion here. Is it valid, though?
