Dick Campbell's part-time juggernaut keeps on rolling⚽️
FT: Arbroath 1-0 Kilmarnock
Kilmarnock manager Derek McInness tells BBC Scotland: “I thought Arbroath got the best of the first half but there wasn't a lot in the game at that point, they didn’t work our goalie much before the interval.
"These conditions can make it easy for players to abdicate responsibility.
“We spoke at half-time about how the game could be won by the other team making a mistake and it was. We made a mistake and gave it away, and Zach has been brilliant for me since I came in, but Zach should save it.
“We’re disappointed we haven't given our fans something.
“Plenty of effort from the players but it takes a lot more than effort.“

Arbroath manager Dick Campbell tells BBC Scotland: “Tonight is up there for me. It was never going to be a classic in these conditions, at this time of year
“My players couldn’t have given me any more than they did.
“Derek will be angry about one or two decisions, as was I about a few.
“I’m very, very happy. We’re eight points clear from 4th form the top is how I look at it. We’ll be looking at the playoffs now I’d imagine.
“Kilmarnock showed in spells tonight that they’re going to get better, so we won’t be counting our chickens."

Jack Hamilton second-half strike seals all three points for the Gayfield team as they go four (yes, four) points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship.

Big 10 minutes for both sides as the game draws towards a conclusion.
A Killie goal would change the complexion of this one entirely, but Arbroath have been just as threatening since they took the lead.

Killie's defence gets all mixed up at the back and Luke Donnelly pounces. His left-footed strike from inside the box flies wide, though.
Moments later, Scott Stewart fires a ball across goal that bounces off of Jack Hamilton in the end after some pinball in the box. The linesman doesn't know much about it and ultimately gives a corner...

Killie appeal for a penalty after Rory McKenzie's cross appears to strike an arm.
Replays show it probably should have been a spot-kick too.
Quote MessageIt's a penalty. The defender makes himself to block it and the laws state that's a penalty
