    Derby are in control.

I just don't see where a goal is going to come from, though.

They've created chances but just haven't taken them - where's it going to come from?

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

Isaak Davies races in on goal but his shot is straight at Rams goalkeeper Ryan Allsop.

It looked like Uche Ikpeazu cleaned Curtis Davies out off the ball so it would have been quite the controversy had the Welshman scored.

That's Isaak Davies' last action as he's replaced by Mark Harris.

  3. League One updatepublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

After falling behind only three minutes in, Portsmouth have now gone 3-1 up at Oxford. Hayden Carter getting Pompey's third. Defeat tonight would be the U's first in four matches.

Burton have come from two goals behind to level 2-2 at Sheffield Wednesday.

Elsewhere, it's still goalless between Shrewsbury and Rotherham.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

First change for the home side.

Jordan Hugill is replaced by Uche Ikpeazu in attack.

  5. League Two updatepublished at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

It's all kicking off between Crawley and Oldham with three goals in five minutes. No sooner had Hallam Hope broken the deadlock for Oldham to put them 1-0 up, Ashley Nadesan equalised two minutes later to level the score for the hosts. Another three minutes later and the pendulum had swung firmly Crawley's way, as Nadesan got his second to put his side 2-1 ahead.

Forest Green have also drawn level at Newport through Jack Aitchison, while Walsall are now drawing 1-1 at Northampton.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

    Ooof.

Jordan Hugill gets to the ball before Curtis Davies 25 yards out and looks to run in on goal.

The Norwich man goes to ground and the referee adjudges that Davies took him out and books him.

Tommy Doyle's free-kick is well held by Ryan Allsop in the Rams goal.

  7. Postpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

Former Manchester United man Ravel Morrison hasn't scored a league goal so far this season and I can't imagine he's gone much closer than he did a couple of minutes ago.

He did so well to arrive in the box at just the right moment but having been found by Festy Ebosele's measured cross he really should have scored.

HOW has that not gone in?!

Cardiff are at sixes and sevens at the back and the ball eventually comes out to Festy Ebosele on the right.

He sends in a brilliant centre that Ravel Morrison heads for goal.

Alex Smithies gets a strong hand on it despite moving the wrong way and it bounces against the post, and Colin Kazim-Richards can't turn in the rebound.

  9. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

Cardiff left-back Joel Bagan gets forward well and comes inside to fire a shot from range with his right foot.

It's well hit but Curtis Davies is in the way of it for the Rams.

We had that early goal for Oxford United against Portsmouth and I knew it was going to be one of those games where they go back and forth and back and forth. It's only been just under a month since the teams last met - Oxford came out on top then, winning 3-2, they had the two late goals.

Similar situation for Pompey at the weekend, they had a six goal thriller against Fleetwood and they came back from three down. So I knew it was going to be one of those games where they go back and forth.

Portsmouth, as they go into this second half, are 2-1 up and I expect we'll see quite a few more goals. I wouldn't be surprised.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

Scrappy at the moment. Really bitty.

Lee Buchanan is booked for dragging down Cody Drameh as he looked to make progress down the Cardiff right.

Derby get Festy Ebosele in down the right for the first time this half.

His cross is cut out at the near post and the corner is cleared away to safety.

It's a positive change for Derby - Wayne Rooney's brought a forward on in place of Krystian Bielik.

It shows Wayne Rooney's intent, he's going for three points.

Hopefiully Colin Kazim-Richards can give Derby a big 45 minutes, which he's capable of.

Back under way in the Welsh capital.

Who is going to make the breakthrough?

Veteran striker Colin Kazim-Richards is on for the away side with Krystian Bielik, who picked up an injury in the first half, making way.

  17. 'Derby capable of keeping up intensity'published at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    HT Cardiff 0-0 Derby

    Jamie Ward
Former Derby forward on BBC Radio Derby

That's certainly the best I've seen Derby this season, when I've watched them.

When Cardiff did get on top it was through Derby's own mistakes.

Can they keep up that intensity over 90 minutes? It's a big ask but this group is capable of it.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

    Goalless.

There's been *some* action but not a lot.

Tommy Doyle crashed a shot against the crossbar for the home side with a wonderful long range volley and Derby forward Festy Ebosele has caused some issues with his pace down their right.

That is about it though it has to be said.

  19. Rooney will be the happier bosspublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium

It is still goalless at the Cardiff City Stadium but Wayne Rooney will be the happier manager as half-time approaches.

Aside from that long-range Tommy Doyle effort, Cardiff have offered little going forward thus far, with their latest loose pass forward prompting frustration among sections of the home crowd.

Derby have played the better football in the first period, though they too have lacked attacking threat.

Steve Morison will want more from his team in the second half.

  20. League One updatepublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

Second placed Wigan have broken the deadlock at Fleetwood thanks to a penalty from Will Keane, awarded after a handball in the box before James McClean doubled their advantage.

Sheffield Wednesday are now 2-1 up at Burton. Barry Bannan made it 2-0 just before the half hour mark but Adlène Guédioura pulled one back for Burton two minutes later.

Sean Raggett's header has also pulled Portsmouth level at Oxford to make it 1-1 before half-time.
