Derby and Barnsley can both pull away from bottom side Peterborough and also pile the pressure on Reading if they can pick up wins against Blackburn and Bristol City respectively.

Reading, meanwhile, have a tricky trip to promotion-chasing Bournemouth.

A win for Birmingham City against play-off chasing Middlesbrough would all but guarantee their safety.

Fulham may well have been held to a 1-1 draw at Barnsley on Saturday but their lead at the top of the Championship still stands at 12 points.

Bournemouth returned to winning ways on Saturday against Derby to put some daylight between themselves and third-placed Huddersfield.

The Cherries have a two-point buffer on the Terriers, and three games in hand.

Blackburn are the only other team in the top six in action this evening.

Rovers have found form and goals desert them at a crucial stage of the campaign, but a win against Derby this evening would lift them a place to fourth.

Just outside of the picture are Middlesbrough in eighth, a point behind sixth-placed Sheffield United.

They head to Birmingham City this evening.
