  1. Bye for now!published at 22:08 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2022

That's all from us after a busy, long weekend of Scottish Cup football across the BBC on TV, radio and online.

The live football keeps coming though.

Join us tomorrow, when it's back to Premiership business as Aberdeen, now with Barry Robson as interim boss after Stephen Glass' exit, host another troubled side, bottom-of-the-table St Johnstone in a big game for both teams.

  2. McPake just delighted to progresspublished at 22:02 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2022

    FT: Peterhead 0-3 Dundee

Turning to the quarter-final draw after which Dundee will host Rangers close to a league meeting between the sides, James McPake says: "It is Rangers, it's going to be tough, but we are just delighted to be in the quarter-finals.

"I think our games between Rangers are close together. Our last meeting was a good game at Dens, even though it was with a different manager."

  3. 'Both sides should have had penalties'published at 22:00 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2022

    FT: Peterhead 0-3 Dundee

Dundee manager James McPake agrees that both sides should have had penalty kicks.

"Real credit to Peterhead - it was a tough game," he tells BBC Scotland. "The job tonight was to progress and we have done that."

  4. 'Shocking refereeing' - McInallypublished at 21:55 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2022

    FT: Peterhead 0-3 Dundee

Peterhead manager Jim McInally is left pleased with his side but angry at them being denied a penalty when behind 1-0.

"Their first goal was definitely a penalty," he tells BBC Scotland. "Our goalkeeper made it an easy decision. The second was a bit of class by Charlie Adam and the third was totally against the run of play

"We kept asking the players to be brave on the ball and I was proud of them because they kept at it and, if it's not for a shocking refereeing decision, who knows what might have happened?

"The referee must have been the only one in the ground who thought it wasn't a penalty and the goalkeeper should have gone."

For any team, if you are going to draw one of the Old Firm, you'd rather have them at home. Hearts to get St Mirren, they will be happy to get a home draw and Motherwell, I'm just happy they are at home too

    Quote Message

It's a good draw because the Old Firm are separated and the Edinburgh teams are separated and there's that potential of a derby in the final. The Dundee teams too

  10. FULL-TIME Peterhead 0-3 Dundeepublished at 21:35 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2022

Dundee complete the Scottish Cup quarter-final line-up, but the 3-0 scoreline isn't a fair reflection of the effort put in by Peterhead.

A Charlie Adam penalty followed by fine finishes from Niall McGinn and Josh Mulligan secure the win, but their League 1 hosts were arguably the better side outside of the those chances and had a blatant penalty denied that could have presented them with a deserved equaliser.

I think Dundee have had three chances and taken all three. They have been ruthless and need to take that into the league

It's a great finish from Josh Mulligan. I'm not taking anything away from the youngster. However, I think 3-0 is harsh on Peterhead.

    Josh Mulligan

    Commentator's nightmare!

Just as I was saying that Dundee had not threatened since their two goals, the home side lose possession in midfield and Josh Mulligan turns inside his marker and curls in a slick finish into the far corner from 18 yards.

Peterhead will take some credit for that considering the midfielder was on loan to them for the first half of the season.

The game is fizzling out for Peterhead despite their brave effort.

Indeed, apart from the two goals, Dundee have not threatened home goalkeeper Brett Long.

With midfielder Jordan on as a substitute, Peterhead now have three Browns on the field on play!

And the home side keep coming forward and a good six-yard box challenge denies them another opportunity.

Peterhead don't want to let the game fizzle out because, if they get one, it would produce a nervy finish. It's time to gamble
