I think Luton will play exactly the same, on the front foot, they have changed personnel but certainly not their style of play. Chelsea will create chances, can they take them?

That clearance by Alisson almost sent laptops flying in the media seats. Placheta was eventually flagged offside but Alisson didn't know that and was quick off his line.

Norwich, to their credit, are not looking afraid to get at Liverpool in these early stages.

Great atmosphere on a very chilly and windy night at Anfield.

  13. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2022

    Liverpool 0-0 Norwich

Looking a bit rough in places is the Anfield turf. Not quite your classic FA Cup mud bath, but certainly not the pristine surface you expect at Premier League clubs.

    Luton 2-1 Chelsea

    Micah Richards
Former England defender on BBC OneIt

It is quality, a proper cup tie.

The manager said they were going to be on the front foot and I thought they would be picked off but Luton have been absolutely magnificent.

Once Reece Burke had the run on his marker for the opening goal, he had the height too and it cost Chelsea.
