What a brilliant goal. Classic in, back and through from Luton, they wrestled the ball back and it is lovely movement. Sarr opts to step up and just lets Cornick through. Super composure, a really comfortable finish.

Diallo has been a bit of one-man wrecking ball at the back for the home side. And not in a good way.

It would have been checked had there been VAR here.

But alas there's no technology to look back on as it's a non-Premier League venue.

Saints almost gift West Ham the opener. Twice.

A poor pass from Ibrahima Diallo only finds Michail Antonio behind the defence on the right. His pass finds Tomas Soucek, but the shot when it comes is blocked and an easy claim for the home keeper.

Diallo does the same again soon after, gifting possession to Antonio, but once more West Ham fail to take advantage as Jarrod Bowen can't find room for a shot.

Will Smallbone again finds space, this time he whips in a great ball. Adam Armstrong needs to keep his head over that - he should at least be hitting the target.

He got completely done by the wind there, Harry Isted. It held the ball up a little bit.

Luton need to take a bit of pressure off, Chelsea are getting lots of joy finding Mason Mount, Werner and Lukaku in those little pockets in front of the back three.

Oh no Harry Isted, no no no.

The Luton sub was called into action early in this game after an injury to Jed Steer and has performed well so far.

But this time he completely misjudges a high ball on the edge of the area, missing a catch like an England cricketer on the boundary at The Gabba.

Luckily for him, it doesn't fall for Romelu Lukaku and a team-mate helps out to clear.

West Ham keep catching Saints out wide. Ben Johnson is the latest to charge forward, but he can't capitalise. He cuts back inside seeking a shot and allows Moussa Djenepo to get back and poke the ball back to the keeper.

Harry Isted working overtime now.

Romelu Lukaku has endured a frustrating few months but continues to plug away.

The Belgium international curls a low shot towards the near post but the Luton stand-in goalkeeper is equal to it with a fine reflex stop.

Long returns to the action and is quickly found wide right to start a move that West Ham do well to retreat and see off.

Btw, where's Kenedy suddenly come back from?

Forgot he was still a Chelsea player.

It's a snap shot from Kenedy, it tees up nicely and it is another good save - it was going in the top corner.

Long is still moving gingerly, but he is on his feet. He certainly won't want to go off, but a big part of the striker's game is mobility.

Shane Long is down here for Southampton. Looks like he's taken a knee to the small of his back while challenging for a header. Nasty.

Harry Isted is being called into action more regularly now.

This is a stunning stop of the Luton goalkeeper, diving full length to his left to push away Kenedy's drive.
