    Norwich v Chelsea (19:30 GMT)

    Chelsea

More from Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel: "Well, relief would mean that we’re struggling with all the information and news out there, it’s quite a big change from yesterday to today but yeah we can’t influence it, we didn’t cause the situation. In the moment it seems that business, let’s say football-wise is more or less protected, but let’s see.

"It can change tomorrow and then we need to see. It’s not a relief, for me personally it’s a joy, a joy all the time to arrive even in situations where noise or circumstances are so obvious even more so I feel privileged to have the chance to be involved in games, in coaching, in football, this is what I love."

  6. 'Worrying times at Chelsea'published at 19:01 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Norwich v Chelsea (19:30 GMT)

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

At times like this you look to your senior players. Cesar Azpilicueta comes back into the side tonight and he will be the one who is leading the dressing room, trying to reassure the players.

I remember at Portsmouth, having a pre-match meal the night before a game when it wasn't just administration, the club had closed - it was thought there would be no more football club.

As a professional footballer that was really scary. It's not just a feeling for the players, it's the whole team of people around you, who help you from day to day, that you start having concerns for.

So it is worrying times at Chelsea, but we know there are people interested in buying the football club, so hopefully it can be resolved quickly.

  7. 'It sounds simple to carry on, but it is much more complicated'published at 18:56 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Norwich v Chelsea (19:30 GMT)

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I have run a club before, in Scotland, and I am really interested to see how the cashflow works if everything is frozen.

Will the government allow a certain amount of cashflow out? What is the cashflow you have to allow out to pay wages every single week?

It is absolutely gigantic at Chelsea, especially if they are not allowed to make any money.

I am not arguing for them, I am just looking at what the legalities of it are. So that is difficult to imagine.

Considering whether people at the club can continue to be paid, I can tell you now that some of the people have been partially laid off already, so they will not be working.

If that happens with the stewarding, and they don't think they will be paid, do you think they will turn up? No, they won't and if they don't turn up you won't get a game on.

There are lots of things like that I desperately hope will be well organised by the government asking as administrators.

It sounds like a simple thing to do - carry on until the end of the season - when you look at the intricacies of it, it is much more complicated.

Yes, it is worrying about Chelsea fans or whoever cares about that club, but that is secondary. This is happening for a reason - to send a message to Russia, and we all understand that.

  8. A turn in formpublished at 18:53 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

Southampton v Newcastle United (19.30 GMT)

    Newcastle United

    Newcastle have turned a corner.

They are seven points off the relegation zone and have picked up seven points in their last three away league games.

Prior to that, they had earned three points out of a possible 27 on the road.

Newcastle and Liverpool are the only two teams with an unbeaten Premier League record in 2022.

Newcastle's undefeated streak of eight matches (W5, D3) is their longest in the top flight since a run of 14 games in 2011.

    Norwich v Chelsea (19:30 GMT)

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's obviously a difficult day for Chelsea supporters. How will these Chelsea players react? All eyes are on them waiting to see, but, in adversity, this is when a professional footballer can take their mind off what is going on and concentrate on football when they cross that line. That's what they have got to do.

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

Wolves moved to the fringes of the top-four battle with their win against Leicester on 20 February.

Three successive defeats have ruined that idea and manager Bruno Lage was particularly unhappy with his side's performance in their home loss to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

"Here at Molineux, in front of our fans, you didn't deserve to see us play the way we did in the first 45 minutes," said Lage in his programme notes.

"It is our job to perform as well as we can to make you proud of us and we didn't do that."
