Ben Blake: MASSIVE shout out to Mat W at 20:01. After Hillsborough, the Bradford fire and so on, we ought to know football is just a game. We love it, but we don't die when we lose. Good luck to Chelsea fans, you deserve

    Wolves 3-0 Watford

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

Wolves boss Bruno Lage has just urged the Wolves fans to start making some more noise.

Lage pointed out it was 3-0 to his team and they deserve a bit of backing.

It had gone a bit quiet in fairness. The fans in the South Bank have responded with a rendition of 'Bruno Lage's Barmy Army'.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Norwich 0-2 Chelsea

The corner is half-cleared, only as far as Mateo Kovacic on the edge of the box.

He takes one look then smashes it towards the top of the goal with the outside of his boot. It's spinning and curling the whole way and brushes the left post on it's way out for a goal kick!

    Some effort.

Cesar Azpilicueta is in behind on the right again. He slides it in towards the near post but Grant Hanley is there first to boot it away.

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Southampton 1-1 Newcastle United

Southampton have responded to that equaliser impressively.

It pops up for Che Adams on the right side of the box and he thumps a volley off the crossbar! That would have been one of the goals of the season.

    Norwich 0-2 Chelsea

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Thiago Silva is so comfortable. He's so cultured. He gets himself in the right areas very quickly and he just reads the game so well.

    Philippe Coutinho (22 mins)

    The visitors take the lead!

Aston Villa keep the ball alive as Lucas Digne's cross runs through the box. It is worked back to Philippe Coutinho in the middle of the area and his strike ends up in the back of the net via a deflection.

That's his fourth goal since joining Aston Villa.

Wow. Stuart Armstrong goes on a brilliant run, weaving in and out of several challenges before putting in a dangerous low cross from the left.

Dan Burn stretches to clear it just in time.

    Wolves 3-0 Watford

Roy Hodgson is stood expressionless on the edge of his technical area. Interesting to know what is going through his mind as this game is surely about damage limitation now after that disastrous eight minute spell.

Watford haven't conceded for a while, so that's a positive at least.

  14. goal

GOAL - Southampton 1-1 Newcastle Unitedpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Chris Wood (33 mins)

A first Newcastle goal for Chris Wood!

Jonjo Shelvey drills it into the box and Wood directs his header into the left corner, leaving the keeper with no chance.

    Back on level terms.

Agree with Rob T. As a Chelsea fan we've accepted the trophies and we have to accept how they were funded. I hope that the sale will be allowed and the profits go to a charity for war, if it doesn't then I will support whatever team emerges at the end of the process. As frustrating as today has been everyone would do well to remember it's a game and people are dying.

    Mat W

If Abramovich is sanctioned in such a way that he cannot recover any funds from Chelsea FC, income or sales proceeds, then why must the sanctions interfere with the day-to-day operation of the club? Why must the fans suffer for the sins of the owner? Empty Stamford Bridge for CL home games? Half-empty Wembley for potential FA Cup tie? What does that accomplish in sanctioning Abramovich?

    Leeds 0-0 Aston Villa

Leeds are looking to end a run of five successive defeats in the Premier League that has seen them drop into the relegation scrap.

Much like n Jesse Marsch's first game they are looking solid defensively but perhaps a little light going forward.

    Norwich 0-2 Chelsea

Chelsea break immediately. Kai Havertz does a few stepovers after staying onside but Ozan Kabak comes across to block just as he shoots.

Corner number six... Saul's flicks it into Tim Krul's arms.

  18. Wolves need anotherpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Wolves 3-0 Watford

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

The last time Wolves scored three times in the first half of a Premier League game was last season at Brighton.

Brighton led in the game so it's not quite the same but Graham Potter's men came back to draw.

    Norwich 0-2 Chelsea

Teemu Pukki does well to win a corner for Norwich - their first of the night - running the ball all the way into the left corner, forcing a tackle from Trevoh Chalobah.

Mathias Normann's delivery is headed comfortably away by Andreas Christensen though.
