    Norwich 0-2 Chelsea

Fifth corner of the half already for Chelsea.

Mason Mount curls it in and Andreas Christensen is completely unmarked at the near post, nodding it into the side-netting.

    Should do better!

    Leeds 0-0 Aston Villa

A training ground move from a free kick by Aston Villa as Philippe Coutinho plays it down the line for Matty Cash, who cuts the ball back to Tyrone Mings inside the box but his low strike is cleared.

    Wolves 3-0 Watford

Good break by Watford but Joshua King lashes his effort well over the bar.

Need to be doing better with those opportunities.

  4. goal

GOAL - Southampton 1-0 Newcastle Unitedpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Stuart Armstrong (26 mins)

James Ward-Prowse pings it over to Kyle Walker-Peters on the left. He teases the full-back then lifts it towards the back post where it's nodded back into the centre.

Stuart Armstrong is there to poke it in from close range and Martin Dubravka gets a touch on it, but not enough.

  5. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Norwich 0-2 Chelsea

Referee Martin Atkinson has blown the whistle as there's a bird on the pitch. Yes, a bird. And it's not even a canary... the cheek.

He's playing a high line too and keeping Kai Havertz onside.

  6. Postpublished at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Leeds 0-0 Aston Villa

Great atmosphere at Elland Road but not much in the way of chances yet for either side.

There's a break in play as Lucas Digne has taken a heavy knock to the ribs.

  9. CLOSE!published at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Southampton 0-0 Newcastle United

Oriol Romeu is having a great game for Southampton. He wins it in the middle, plays in Che Adams, he slips it right to Armando Broja but he scuffs the shot! That was a huge chance.

Ben Foster - a former West Brom keeper - is getting it in the neck from the Wolves fans after that mistake.

What a terrible error and Daniel Podence capitalised.

This will be some galvanising mission for Roy Hodgson if he pulls it off.

  12. CLOSE!published at 19:52 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2022

    Norwich 0-2 Chelsea

Mason Mount and Kai Havertz are really enjoying themselves. A quick one-two between the pair sets up another opportunity but Mount's volley is sliced over the bar at the finish.

  13. goal

    Daniel Podence (21 mins)

    Disaster for Watford!

Hot on the heels of conceding an own goal there is a massive blooper from the usually dependable Ben Foster as the Hornets goalkeeper panics under pressure and clears straight to Daniel Podence, who gleefully hits the ball into the unguarded net.

Absolutely terrible few minutes from the visitors, who are looking short of confidence and quality tonight.

Remember how Chelsea performed when they were slapped with a transfer ban and relied on the youngsters. I think it may be happening again but with world class talent!

Despite being a life long Chelsea fan, there is absolutely no doubt that The Government is right. The choice is very stark and we have to be on the side that is morally right; if that means sanctions against my football then so be it and from that flows the consequences.

    Southampton 0-0 Newcastle United

Oriol Romeu plays a lovely ball over the top for Armando Broja, who almost brings it down and would have been in, but Martin Dubravka does enough to force a corner.

From the set-piece, Romeu skies it from the edge of the box. Nice play though.

Patrick Weaver: I don't think I've ever seen a Premier defence as disorganised as Norwich City's. Chelsea effortlessly creating chances.

Every time Raul Jimenez has scored for Wolves this season, they have won.

That was an excellent square pass from Hwang Hee-chan and a deft finish into the corner from the Mexican.

And I'm relieved - its the third time I have watched Watford since Roy Hodgson became manager and that's the first goal I have seen. Obviously Roy doesn't share the sentiment.

Mathias Normann gives the home fans a few seconds of excitement with an ambitious shot from long range. It's always rising and it's comfortable over the bar in the end.
