Harry Kane made a slow start to the season and you have to take into account the Euros.

He has transformed his game by dropping into the number 10 role but he is also scoring goals still.

He has stepped into the mantle like a top player should.

The Gunners have failed to score in any of the last five meetings.

Liverpool could win three consecutive away games against Arsenal for the first time.

Liverpool 'want to be as annoying as possible' - Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp said he plans to challenge Manchester City in the Premier League title race by being "as annoying as possible".

"That's the plan [to push City]," said Klopp. "The plan is to be as annoying as possible. We have to win our games.

"It's final after final after final that we play. We're not ten points ahead with 10 to go. It's in front of us - attack it, chase it, go for it. It's the only chance we have."

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said it would be a big achievement for his side to win against Liverpool tonight.

"Being able to beat the most in-form team in the country would be really, really big so that's the aim," he said.

"We haven't done anything. What we are doing is try to improve, understand better what we want, being much more consistent in performance and results, but nothing else as yet."

  14. 'If Spurs lose it would be ridiculous'published at 19:00 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Brighton v Tottenham (19:30 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

I agree with Tottenham boss Antonio Conte when he says this is the time for his experienced players to step up.

With 11 games to go, Spurs are outsiders for the top four after their inconsistent form in the past few weeks – they have had some really good days, and some extremely bad ones too – but they still have a chance of taking a Champions League spot.

Given what’s at stake for them, if they lose to a team on a run like Brighton are on, then that would be ridiculous.

Teams very rarely pull the Seagulls apart but they don’t get enough goals and they have lost their past five games while only scoring once.

If Tottenham turn up – and it’s an if – they should win this one. To have any chance of the top four, I think they have to take three points.

    Lawro’s prediction: 0-2

Antonio Conte has called on Tottenham's more experienced players to lead the squad as they chase a top-four finish.

"You know very well what I think about Harry [Kane]. He is a really, really important player for us.

"If you want to fight until the end for this type of target, this is the moment that I have to ask a lot from the big players.

"I have to ask a lot from Harry, Hugo (Lloris), Son [Heung-min] and these players in this moment, they have to lead the situation and keep us until the end there.

"For sure in this moment, experience is very important. We don't have a lot of experience in this team. 100% is not enough, we need to ask 120% or 130% to try to help this type of target."

It's what everyone is talking about at the moment.

Manchester City's draw with Crystal Palace on Monday has given Liverpool greater hope in the title race.

They can move to within a point of leaders City with victory tonight having then played the same number of games.

Liverpool are travelling to the Etihad to take on City in April but until then the task is simple - keep winning.

Arsenal provide a really big test tonight. Can Jurgen Klopp's men stay on course?
