Jordan Henderson is the trigger for Liverpool. He must be the fittest man on the pitch, he covers so much ground.

Gabriel drills it over to Gabriel Martinelli. He flicks it on and he's away on the left. It's drilled into the middle, Joel Matip leaves it and Andy Robertson hooks it away a few yards out from his own goal. That was dangerous!

Trent Alexander-Arnold threads one down the line but Kieran Tierney is there ahead of Sadio Mane. The Liverpool forward presses him but it deflects straight out for a goal kick.

Matty AFC: One of those games where everything has you on edge. Screaming at the TV for that ludicrous decision to give a foul against Ødegaard on Robertson. Dread to think what I'll be like for any goals.

Joel Matip pings it over the top for Luis Diaz to run onto but it will roll through to Aaron Ramsdale.

A blistering start from the visitors but it's settled down a bit now with Arsenal looking dangerous on the break.

Cedric Soares wins it in the air and Arsenal have space to break. They go down the right as Thomas Partey plays a nice ball through to Bukayo Saka.

He curls it in early and Gabriel Martinelli follows it up at the back post. It's a tough one and he has to hit it on the volley. It's sliced into the six-yard area and Joel Matip can clear it.

Liverpool have definitely settled. Aaron Ramsdale has to come out of his box to clear a long ball which Sadio Mane is chasing.

It goes straight to Fabinho, who switches it around via Virgil van Dijk.

Liverpool have started in the mood to make a statement. It was a very important early intervention from Aaron Ramsdale to keep out Virgil van Dijk's header.

Very lively start in a raucous atmosphere at Emirates Stadium.

Sadio Mane wins a free-kick in the middle. He tries to take it quickly but the referee wants it to go back as the ball was still rolling.

That's probably best for Liverpool as nobody was on Mane's wavelength.

Arsenal break dangerously. Bukayo Saka tries to get away on the right but Andy Robertson slides in to win it.

Martin Odegaard comes across to put him under pressure but he's given away a free-kick.

A tame contest so far but Spurs have the lead at the break.

Oooh. Not too far away. Harry Kane whips the free-kick over the bar.

Granit Xhaka deflects Joel Matip's header behind to concede another corner. On the next one, Virgil van Dijk thumps a dangerous header towards the bottom right corner.

Aaron Ramsdale has to push it behind. What a chance!

Liverpool can go a point behind Man City and Arsenal are fighting for the top four.

It's going to be an incredible game.

Tim Sherwood: Romero seems to be in that kind of position rather often for a centre-back, but at least now we know why! Great goal even if it was quite lucky.
