Meanwhile, Tottenham are still in the hunt for a Champions League qualification spot, though rivals Arsenal have the benefit of a game in hand.

Spurs' lack of consistency could prove costly though.

Brighton's form has been pretty poor recently.

They could lose six consecutive league games for the first time since 2006 when they were back in the Championship.

It's just one win in 10 league and cup matches for Graham Potter's side.

They have also won just once in 11 Premier League home fixtures, scoring 10 goals at the Amex - the joint-lowest in the top flight.

Arsenal and Tottenham are both going for the same thing - Champions League qualification.

The Gunners have an advantage over their rivals, both in terms of points and positioning, but they also have a game in hand.

With Liverpool in their way tonight it could be an opportunity for Tottenham to make up some ground.

They are six points below in eighth but will move level on points with West Ham if they beat Brighton tonight.

Arsenal would move to within five points of Chelsea if they beat Liverpool, again having played one less than the Blues.
