Gabriel finds Alexandre Lacazette and he tries to chip it in for Gabriel Martinelli but it's hoofed away by Marc Guehi.

Wilfried Zaha tries to spin Cedric Soares but the full-back wins it. He then gives it straight to Jeffreu Schlupp.

It's back with Zaha in the box but Soares gets a toe on it.

Joachim Anderson takes the free-kick, whipping it towards Aaron Ramsdale's right.

It's fairly comfortable in the end for the Arsenal keeper, who gathers it in with both hands.

Saka was looking for that. It was shoulder to shoulder and he was looking for contact. If you award a penalty for that you award five or six every game.

Brilliant stuff from Jeffrey Schlupp. He wins it in the middle off Martin Odegaard, weaves past two players then is fouled by Thomas Partey on the edge of the box. Free-kick for Palace and a yellow for the Arsenal midfielder.

Bukayo Saka drives at the defence and gets into the box. Cheikhou Kouyate wrestles him for the ball and both players go tumbling down in the box.

Arsenal want a penalty but Paul Tierney waves it away.

Palace break and Jean-Philippe Mateta almost sneaks through but there's too many players around him.

Nuno Tavares had a particularly poor first half but then so did many of the Arsenal players. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

The amazing thing from Arsenal's point of view, when you think what's at stake and the position they have got themselves into this season, they have just lacked aggression. Palace have out fought and out worked them.

Jean-Philippe Mateta scored his fourth Premier League goal of the season.

Crystal Palace have won all of the previous three league games this campaign Mateta scored in, by an aggregate score of 9-1.
