Arsenal are missing a player like Kieran Tiernay - his attitude. There hasn't been the right attitude from Arsenal this evening. There's not many times you can level that at them this season but this performance has been so, so poor.

Oooh. Martin Odegaard floats it over to Alexandre Lacazette in the box. He's preparing to volley it but Nathaniel Clyne nips in to get a crucial header on it.

Joachim Anderson doesn't keep it on play on the right as Arsenal keep pushing for a goal before the break.

They haven't had any clear-cut opportunities yet. Vicente Guaita has had a quiet night so far.

Martin Odegaard's shot is blocked and Palace counter with Wilfried Zaha on the left but it is well defended in the end.

Crystal Palace just look so much better organised than Arsenal. The Gunners are not getting runners in behind and that makes it easier for the Palace midfield to stay congested.

This is really good stuff from Palace.

Wilfried Zaha is played in on the left. He cuts inside of Ben White and Cedric Soares to tee up Jean-Philippe Mateta.

He hits it first time and Aaron Ramsdale does enough to parry it away before gathering it in.

That typifies the first half. Conor Gallagher was so tenacious and that can't be said for any Arsenal player. They have really lacked aggression.

Conor Gallagher takes a quick free-kick. He slips in Wilfried Zaha, he cuts it back into the middle and Nuno Tavares makes a desperate clearance before the flag goes up for offside.

Bukayo Saka is frustrated. He's having to come inside to get involved and by doing so, he trips up Conor Gallagher to give away a foul on the edge of the Palace box.

Wilfried Zaha does well on the left, beating two players before sliding in Jean-Philippe Mateta. He nutmegs Cedric Soares to find Tyrick Mitchell but he's nudged off it and it's out for a goal kick.

Marc Guehi scuffs a clearance into the air and Alexandre Lacazette tries to put him under pressure in the box.

In the end, Lacazette barges him to the floor and Palace win a free-kick.

A reminder that Palace are yet to win at home in 2022. They are leading Arsenal 2-0 after half an hour.

Bukayo Saka chips it in from the right but Alexandre Lacazette nods it well over the bar. It was a difficult chance though.

Conor Gallagher had to slide in a few moments before to block Thomas Partey on the edge of the box.

Emile Smith Rowe tries to carry it through the middle but runs into Jeffrey Schlupp.

Eventually Thomas Partey is clipped and Arsenal can try and calm things down for a few minutes.

Rob Elmore: Gabriel has already made too many mistakes.

Naim Rahman: We don’t look up for it today and Palace have been set up to just take their chances. If we want any chance of getting top 4 we HAVE to turn this around.
