That could be game, set and match.

You can't see Senegal slipping up. They'll use their experience and see the game out.

They've been given a scare by Qatar.

Bamba Dieng for Senegal. That's a very, very fitting way to finish this game. Senegal have dominated possession, they haven't been outstanding themselves.

They have got over the line and scored three goals. It's a really good finish. Bamba Dieng found his way into an area, he held out a bit and saw what happened.

    Bamba Dieng

That should be that. Iliman Ndiaye surges down the right and cuts the ball back to Dieng, who sweeps the ball past Meshaal Barsham.

No chance for the Qatar keeper with that.

Senegal's Sheffield United-Marseille connection at its best.

If only Qatar had shown that little bit of commitment in the last 80 minutes or so.

I think we've got a game on our hands...

Senegal have been sloppy and lazy. It was almost as if they thought Qatar weren't good enough, they weren't fearful of them.

You've got to be fearful in World football.

What a cross, what a header. Commitment to get into the box, great crossfield ball. Mohammad gets it in and there you go. That's what happens if you really commit yourself. Muntari gets himself in between the two Senegal defenders. Game on, maybe, just maybe.

What a moment for the host nation.

    Mohammed Muntari

    As we were saying.

    Would you believe it?

Minutes after coming on, Mohammed Muntari gets onto Ismaeel Mohammad's cross and becomes Qatar's first ever goalscorer at a World Cup, with a superb thumping header.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 77 mins

    Qatar 0-2 Senegal

A few changes from both teams now.

Mohammed Muntari came on for Hassan Al Haydos, while Senegal take Ismail Sarr and Famara Diedhiou off to be replaced by Iliman Ndiaye and Pape Abou Cisse.

Senegal surely just need to keep their heads and keep hold of the ball and there'll be home and hosed in this contest thanks to the cushion the Famara Diedhiou's header has given them.

Japan and Saudi Arabia believed but I'm not sure Qatar have ever believed they can do something in their two games so far.

Qatar actually look decent when they get bodies in the box and channel their inner Sam Allardyce/Kevin Davies.

Mohammad with a great strike. That's brilliant, it was just commitment from Qatar. That's all it was. Listen to the crowd! That's the first time we've seen Senegal panic and have to do something.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 67 mins

    Qatar 0-2 Senegal

Edouard Mendy, who had a bit of a shocker in Senegal's defeat to the Netherlands has repaid coach Aliou Cisse's faith in him there.

Qatar wing-back Ismaeel Mohammad thought he'd scored as he shins a pacey delivery towards goal from six yards but it Mendy gets down to his right and somehow claws it away.
