It actually isn't unlike the game against Scotland at the Euros.

Jack Grealish is already making a difference. His skill and awareness sees England get in down the right, but the Man City player's low cross is into a crowded area and Harry Kane can't get a shot away.

No player has had more headed clearances in a 2022 World Cup match so far than England's Harry Maguire today (6 so far).

He's been England's best player tonight. He's not got much competition.

Jackson Dilday is supporting USA against England tonight while watching in the bar at Jude Bellingham’s boyhood club - and he thinks he might just be on his own in that.

The 20-year-old American national is in his third year of studying coaching and analysis at the University of Wolverhampton and works with the men’s and women’s teams at Stourbridge FC.

Jackson is pleased with how USA are playing so far and thinks they are unlucky not to be ahead after Christian Pulisic struck the bar in the first half.

Jordan Henderson wants the ball. He wants to play. He is there when England try and recycle it and sustain attacks.

One thing we know about Jack Grealish is that he can carry the ball into an opponent's half. he does just that, weaving into the US box before a last-ditch tackle stops him going any further.
