Phil Kemp: You wait all first half for a goal, and then two come along at once. Something about buses?

Tristan Carlyle: Nipped to the loo and missed both goals. Might hold off the tea.

Missed Foden's goal as was sending my niece a photo of me celebrating the goal. The old one two indeed.

As we said earlier on, it's about restoring pride for Wales.

Can we go and try to get back into this game? If not, you don't want it to go beyond 2-0.

Here come the England changes, from a position of superiority.

Harry Kane gets a rest, with Newcastle's Callum Wilson on. Kyle Walker's return from injury is over too, with Trent Alexander-Arnold replacing him.

Kalvin Phillips enters the World Cup too. Declan Rice goes off.

How Wales wish they had such depth to draw on.

    Wow!

Wales have suddenly come to life! They have no choice, to be fair.

Kieffer Moore's effort from range dips and whips and swirls and forces Jordan Pickford to readjust to palm away.

It's party time now for the England fans,

What a noise and what a change in atmosphere.

It's a very quiet sea of red at the other end though.

Oh, Wales almost back in it!

Dan James curls a shot (or was it a cross?) that floats just past the far post.

That's as close as Wales have come.

I have to wonder what we are thinking in these moments.

We have just conceded, we are trying to play. It's another transition moment where we have conceded - there have been a few in this World Cup - and it's something we have to look at.

Wow, wow, wow. England have come to life at the start of this second half. Two massive bits of quality. The free kick from Rashford is excellent and the pass from Kane to Foden is pinpoint. Southgate’s changes in the forward area have paid off!

  13. goal

GOAL - Wales 0-2 Englandpublished at 52 mins

    Phil Foden

    The old one-two!

Brought into the side to bring some creativity and edge, Phil Foden delivers. This is as much down to Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane, though. The former wins the ball high, the latter strokes a low cross across the face of goal that Foden can't miss.

England now in complete control of this game and the group.

Wales have been blown away in a couple of minutes.

It's a fantastic free-kick, it was a great position for him.

If you are Wales now, don't capitulate - make sure you don't concede a second and try to get yourself back in the game.

    Boy does he fancy it!

A magnificent strike from the England forward. A couple of steps and the whipped shot is over the wall and past the dive of Danny Ward.

His second goal of the tournament. England are on top. Wales sinking.

The positive side of that change for Wales is that this is a big chance for Brennan Johnson, who can justifiably feel like he's been underused so far in this World Cup.

Wales - and Nottingham Forest - fans know what a threat Johnson can be.

Phil Foden goes on a driving run and is taken down near the edge of the box. He turned sharply and went.

This is a free-kick that has 'hit me' written all over it.

Brennan Johnson is into the action. It is to shove Luke Shaw in the back, though, for a free-kick is he tries to reach a punted ball forward.
