    A Wales effort!

This is sneaky. England expect a long throw but Connor Roberts goes short and it sets up a chance for Joe Allen that he slices wide.

This is the problem Wales are having - they don't know what they want to do on the counter.

They don't know whether they are coming to feet or going in behind.

They are getting caught in between and we have to figure out what we are trying to do.

Looks like Brennan Johnson is warming up pretty vigorously for Wales.

Are we going to see him after the break to try and provide some of the attacking verve Wales need.

Wales just need to get into half-time now, get in, get your breather and your instructions.

We do need a bit more from Gareth Bale and Dan James on the flanks, though.

Peter Humfrey: Last game people were begging Gareth to replace Mason Mount with Phil Foden. Now they want Foden off for Mount. Gareth Southgate can't win can he.

If it's 0-0 with 20 minutes to go, can we please have the likes of James Maddison, Conor Gallagher on? Give these players their dream to play at a World Cup. Wales aren't going to score four in 20 minutes and those players are as good as some on the pitch and I bet will show more heart.

Wales are packing the central part of their own box to respond to every England attack. The team in white and blue haven't found the speed or creativity to unpick the lock yet.

Aaron Ramsey is just sitting on Declan Rice every time and that's really stifling the England attack.

So, Wales need to score four as it stands. They've barely been in England's half so far.

You can slowly feel the pressure cranking up now. England have had their phases of play where they have just kept the ball. You can sense something can happen now.

That USA goal has changed the complexion of Group B - but not for either of these sides.

England still going through at the moment, Wales still going out.

Wales are hanging on here for now but it's bad news for them from Group B's other game with the USA taking the lead.

Wales need that match to end as a draw.

Even when the hope is around 0.3%, it's the hope that kills you.
