Yasir Al Shahrani is moving as he is put on the stretcher and thankfully is able to motion thumbs up to indicate he is hopefully OK.

He goes off and play is able to continue as we enter the 99th minute.

That is not play acting. The referee should have stopped that immediately.

That is sickening.

There is a break in play here because Yasir Al Shahrani is down on the ground and taken a really nasty hit to the face by his goalkeeper's knee as he jumped to get the ball.

Argentina have missed Giovani Lo Celso in midfield. Their forward line is excellent but their midfield is lacking. They don't have much creativity in there.

Saudi Arabia, ranked 53rd in the world, are on the verge of beating Argentina, ranked third.

They've defended like lions in this second half and if they hold on, they fully deserve it.

An incredible performance.

Time is running out for Argentina. What a story this would be.

Aleks: Can't help thinking this is very similar to England Iceland from 2016. This is what an early goal, especially penalty, especially soft one, can do to you: give false sense if security, make you drop your focus and quite possibly lose the game

What a clearance off the line by Saudi Arabia!

Abdulelah Al Amri heads a goalbound shot off the line. The whistle had gone for offside but the substitute wasn't to know that.

I'm starting to think they might actually do it now, wow.

There will be a lot of stoppage time but Argentina aren't really creating anything.

Tactical change here for Saudi Arabia as Nawaf Al Abed, himself a sub, is making way - and gets booked as he goes off. He is replaced by Abdulelah Al Amri while Haitham Asiri is on for Feras Albrikan.

Just two minutes of normal time to go. Saudi Arabia have a huge, famous result within their grasp.
