There is almost an air of disbelief around the arena.

If Argentina want to win this tournament (or indeed this match) then they need to be playing their best defender Lisandro Martinez.

That is a wonderful tackle. It is exceptional and immaculate or it probably would have been 2-2.

What is going on? The Saudi Arabia fans simply can’t believe what is happening.
A stunning start to the second half.
Argentina 1-2 Saudi Arabia
High fives all round the Saudi Arabia defence as Hassan Al Tambakt makes a goal-saving tackle. Lionel Messi thinks he is in but Al Tambakt is there with a crucial intervention.
Argentina 1-2 Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia have scored in consecutive World Cup matches for the first time since their first four games in the competition in 1994.

Argentina have barely been able to get out of their own half in the second period so far.
They look a little bit lost at the moment.
The head coach Lionel Scaloni looks completely perplexed. It doesn't look like he knows what to do.

What a finish!
It is good play down the right-hand side. It is brilliant defending by Christian Romero initially but that is a wonderful whipped finish.
Saudi deserve it in the second half.

They can barely believe this! The mighty Argentina are behind!
Salem Al Dawsari
INCREDIBLE STUFF!
Argentina fans have their hands on their heads, they don't know what is happening as one of the pre-tournament favourites are now behind!
It is Saudi Arabia's talisman with the goal and what a strike it is by Salem Al Dawsari, as he sidesteps a challenge inside the box before thumping a shot into the far corner. Emi Martinez gets a hand to it but not enough to keep it out.
Argentina now have to come from behind in a game many thought they would win easily.

I am looking at the game, thinking Argentina need to make some forward changes. Angel Di Maria has been a terrific player but he doesn't have that pace to struggle teams. I'd be bringing Julian Alvarez or Paulo Dybala on.

Wow. No one saw that coming.
A very smart finish from Saleh Al-Shehri but that is uncharacteristically shoddy by Argentina's defence.
The thousands of fans decked out in their green shirts are dancing around in the stands.
They can't have imagined this... is our first World Cup shock on the cards?

What is going on at the back for Argentina at the moment? They are wobbling.
Argentina 1-1 Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia, roared on by deafening noise now, come forward again but only a slip Saud Abdulhamid on the right side of the box prevents the full-back from getting what could have been a very useful cross in.

We'll now see what Argentina are made of.
The game needed that because Argentina were in second gear, they'll have to go through them now.

The fans are on their feet and cheering! It is a mixture of pleasure and disbelief.

It is a brilliant goal. Christian Romero doesn't move his feet quick enough. It is a brilliant finish, despite him not catching it cleanly. The bounce does for Emi Martinez.
Saleh Al-Shehri
WOW!
There was lots of talk of damage limitation for Saudi Arabia before the game but they've managed the high line well in the first half and now they are level!
They win the ball in midfield and Saleh Al-Shehri charges forward, getting away from Christian Romero before firing across Emi Martinez and into the far corner.
Incredible noise from the Saudi Arabia fans.
