Burnley finally get a little spell of possession in the Tottenham half. Charlie Taylor tries to find Ashley Barnes in the box but a Spurs head gets there first. Dwight McNeil is then beaten in the air in the six-yard box as he goes for a subsequent header.

Much better from the visitors. How many moments are they likely to get to hurt Spurs, though?

We are 20 minutes in and Burnley haven't had a touch in the Tottenham area yet. To be honest, they haven't even got near it.

At least the Clarets fans are seeing plenty of the action though - they are all in the corner of the end Spurs are attacking, to the left of Nick Pope's goal.

A few groans around the ground as Spurs fail to make a pass stick. Burnley are doing a good job of denying the home side and space.

Eric Dier tries to find Son Heung-min with a long ball into the box but Nick Pope is alert and out to gather.

On this evidence, it is going to need a monumental defensive effort from Burnley to get anything from this.

It feels only a matter of time before Spurs score.

"North London is ours" sing the Tottenham fans, just in case any Arsenal fans are listening.

They are not letting the volume drop. On the pitch, the pressure is just relentless.

Ryan Sessegnon's cross is met by Harry Kane, whose header looks to be going in to the top corner until it is hooked away from goal by Nathan Collins. Vital touch.

Unsurprisingly, Burnley look to have come here for a point. If they can nick a goal then brilliant but right now they've barely completed a pass, never mind threatened Spurs.

Wave after wave of Tottenham attacks so far, urged on by their very noisy fans. It might be an early kick-off but they are doing their best to give their side the rousing atmosphere they need.

The second corner is dealt with by Burnley.

It is pure attack v defence. Lucas Moura's shot deflects wide and Tottenham have a corner.

Tottenham work an opening on the right for Emerson Royal but his low cross is hammered away by Nathan Collins.

Harry Kane thinks he has been shoved in the back as he goes for a header. The flag is up, though, so it's irrelevant.

The Burnley management team - all sporting the same blue tracksuit - are a flurry of activity in the technical area. Ben Mee is up and down, in Mike Jackson's ear to provide some advice.

Tottenham absolutely dominating possession. The play is pretty much exclusively in the Burnley half. But the Clarets are disciplined and sticking well to the containment plan.

Very much a flat back five for Burnley. Trying to deny Tottenham any space in and around the box.
