Coming into the tournament as a whole, Graham Arnold said Australia needed to fight like boxing kangaroos. They've tried to fight fire with fire so far in this match.

Australia recognise that the back three of Tunisia are very narrow and compact. They know there are going to be spaces in behind.

Early verdict. I've seen better games at this tournament. Much better games. The good news is there plenty of time for this to improve.

Australia are favouring attacking down the Tunisia right at the moment.

Two or three times, Australia have gone long rather than play through the phases. They've gone long, picked up the pieces and gained territory in the Tunisia half.

I expected Tunisia to be quicker out of the blocks and be energised with the fans behind them.

Naim Sliti is fouled by Aziz Behich and Tunisia's fans are baying for blood. Instead, the Australian gets a lecture from the ref before being allowed to go on his way.

It's a good start from Australia, they'll be pleased. They've had some sustained pressure without creating any chances. But they're playing in Tunisia's half, that's what the manager wanted.

Australia's game plan is clearly to pump as many balls and crosses into the Tunisia box as possible. So far, the North Africans are dealing with everything that is being thrown at them.

The referee has given two free-kicks Australia's way - both totally correct - and the crowd react as if it's a penalty against Tunisia.

Another good ball from Harry Souttar, spreading the play. We saw that in the France game. It's a real weapon for Australia.

Three seasons ago Harry Souttar was playing in League One for Fleetwood Town. Now he's playing in a must-win game for Australia at the World Cup.

The Socceroos have started well without managing to test Tunisia's keeper.

Ajdin Hrustic is a very creative player, he's a very talented player. He's not quite fit enough to play 90 minutes but depending on how the game is going, we might see him later on.

We've seen his quality for Eintracht Frankfurt, and Australia might need his quality to break down this Tunisia defence.

Tunisia have kept nine clean sheets in their last 10 games. They were thumped by Brazil in September but that is their only defeat since Jalel Kadri took over in January.

Huge jeers as Aaron Mooy goes down after being clipped by Mohamed Drager. Free-kick to the Socceroos but it comes to nothing.

The best thing about this game so far is the atmosphere. It's incredible.

Craig Goodwin hit the back of the net against France and you could see the confidence that came off the back of that goal.

Tunisia are traditionally stingy in defence, so this will be a good test for Australia.
