At times, Serbia are just going to have to hang in.

It's a scrap at times in midfield. Both teams getting a foot in to try and gain superiority. Brazil look the more threatening, but Serbia are starting to show a bit more ambition.

Neymar is sniffing. He weaves with the ball in the Serbia box but can't quite find space for a shot before the tackle comes in to dispossess him.

Raphinha already looks lively. Leeds fans will recognise that long-stride running style as he charges away down the pitch. Not shy of getting stuck in either. A workhorse as well as a thrilling attacking talent.

Serbia take their time over a goal-kick to try to drain a bit of the life out of this lively Brazil. After a punt down field, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is one good Brazil tackle away from getting in on goal.

As Martin Keown has just said on BBC One, Casemiro has a big job on his hands here. He's not exactly surrounded in midfield by team-mates renowned for their defensive work.

Serbia haven't seen much of the ball, but they're mixing it. It results in the game's first yellow card, to Strahinja Pavlovic for dumping Neymar on the floor.

It's a Brazil team stacked with attacking talent - we expect lots of goals but this Serbian team are very good, they qualified ahead of Portugal in their group and can score a goal or two themselves.

So this could be very interesting.

Serbia play with a back three with two sitters in midfield and try to press really high.

Patient stuff from Brazil early on. They stroke the ball around at the back. Getting a feel of things.

It really is a sea of yellow shirts in the stands.

Not sure if this is a sign of Neymar being well up for this or not, but he's pressing and fouling a Serbia player inside the first minute.

Simon Atkins: With the unpredictable nature of the World Cup so far, and the quality of the Serbian team, I'm going 2-1 to Serbia. All of South America may fail to escape the group stage at this point.
