    Cameroon 0-0 Brazil

There may be a party feel in the stands, but not much to break the early stalemate on the pitch.

The average positions show just how much of the play has been in the middle of the park.

Serbia are now just a goal away from potentially reaching the last 16.

If their game stays level Cameroon would go through if they beat Brazil.

    Serbia 1-1 Switzerland

Incredible. Switzerland almost restore their narrow lead through Xherdan Shaqiri's second of the game.

Ricardo Rodriguez plays an incredible ball into the feet of the 31-year-old, who can only find the side-netting.

The first 30 minutes have absolutely flown by at Stadium 974.

Whenever there's a free kick close to the box, a commentator must be contractually obliged to mention someone playing the draft excluder role, which feels pretty redundant now as no one goes low.

Rodrygo decides to take this Brazil free kick having won it, but he slams the ball into the wall.

Maybe he should have gone low.

A very popular goalscorer. Aleksandar Mitrovic's form is absolutely outstanding. That's now three goals in six World Cup matches for Serbia. A guy to my right was stamping his feet like a giddy toddler. Mitrovic just flicked that header in so precisely. Wonderful goal.

    Cameroon 0-0 Brazil

Rodrygo surges forward down the middle and has his ankle clipped by Pierre Kunde, who is booked as a result.

Brazil have a free kick in a decent position, pretty central and around 25 yards from goal.

    Parity restored.

Dusan Tadic is heavily involved, swinging in a superb cross from the left for Aleksandar Mitrovic to nod into the far corner.

A trademark header from the Fulham frontman and Serbia are level!

Ronaldo, Messi and Shaqiri are the only three players to have scored at each of the last three men's World Cups.

  10. Breakthrough for Switzerlandpublished at 19:26 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2022

    Serbia 0-1 Switzerland

Ricardo Rodriguez's cross set up Shaqiri's opener, as Switzerland made their strength out wide pay.

As you can see, the lion share of the Swiss attacks have come down their left.

At the other end, Dusan Tadic is doing his best to spark a Serbian revival.

The 34-year-old tries to dink a ball through to Aleksandar Mitrovic, but it's cut out by a Swiss defender.

There is a bit of a carnival atmosphere here in the Lusail Stadium. The Brazil fans are dancing away and the Cameroon supporters are joining in.

The football seems to be playing a bit second fiddle at the moment.

Even news of that Swiss goal hasn't dampened the Cameroon fans' enthusiasm.

Switzerland have the wind in their sails now.

Ruben Vargas feeds Djibril Sow, who takes a tumble inside the penalty area but is quickly ordered back to his feet by referee Fernando Rapallini.

Even if Cameroon take the lead against Brazil, the Swiss will be heading through.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:21 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2022

    Cameroon 0-0 Brazil

Good persistence by Eric Choupo-Moting as he just charges forward and through the Brazil defence before Fabinho steps in to hammer clear.

Cameroon keep up the attack, however, and Ederson is called upon for the first time to push away a dangerous cross.

    Good spell for Cameroon.

    Cameroon 0-0 Brazil

    Chris Sutton
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Cameroon are trying to play with a bit of balance so far but they'll have to throw caution to the wind eventually. Serbia and Switzerland couldn't lay a glove on Brazil, but Cameroon have to.
