Romain Saiss is really struggling and the captain looks like he is coming off.
Morocco are readying another centre-back.

Giroud caught it absolutely flush. It was one long ball from Konate, bounced over Saiss's head and he hammers the ball into the post. Bono wasn't getting to that and that's a let off for Morocco. Saiss is struggling.
France 1-0 Morocco
Morocco captain Romain Saiss was a major doubt for this game with an injury and he was beaten too easily by Olivier Giroud for that chance. It looks like they're going to have to bring him off. A real shame for him and Morocco.
France 1-0 Morocco
Here's the opening goal of the game.
France 1-0 Morocco

BBC Sport at Al Bayt Stadium
Morocco's all-action midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has already won the ball back five times in the opening 15 minutes.
Just think if N'Golo Kante was playing for France tonight, there wouldn't be enough land or water on Earth for them both to cover.
France 1-0 Morocco

Former England midfielder on BBC One
It looks like Romain Saiss is really struggling. He is limping as he runs.
That was a really struggle and that is despite Oliver Giroud not being the quickest. He couldn't turn and keep up with him.
There has to be a change. You can't stay on when you can't run properly. You're going to let your team down.
France 1-0 Morocco
Out of nowhere France are almost 2-0 up. Olivier Giroud races onto a long ball forward and hammers a shot off the post from the edge of the box. Bono looked beaten.

That was a brilliant move. They won it back and they broke out quickly. It was a good quality pass through the lines and Sofiane Boufal of Morocco controls the ball against Aurelien Tchouameni of France during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 semi final match between France and Morocco played the pass at the right time but Ziyech just rushed it.
France 1-0 Morocco
Oh that's a shame.
Lovely play by Morocco's Sofiane Boufal to win the ball in the centre circle, beat a couple of defenders and carry the ball 30 yards before feeding Hakim Ziyech, who slips as he shoots at it hits the side-netting.
France 1-0 Morocco

France 1-0 Morocco
Hakim Ziyech launches this one into the box but Ibrahima Konate heads away. Like a Chelsea v Liverpool game. Except nothing like that.
France 1-0 Morocco
Morocco have a free-kick near the halfway line. Hakim Ziyech stands over it.
France 1-0 Morocco

BBC Sport at Al Bayt Stadium
Morocco have had one late change to make at the back, just need to keep an eye on skipper Romain Saiss.
The ex-Wolves defender was training alone in the warm-up and suffered a hamstring problem in the quarter-final win over Portugal, taken off on a stretcher.
Chasing back Kylian Mbappe will test those hamstrings.
France 1-0 Morocco
Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Al Bayt Stadium
Morocco, roared on by their vast support, have suffered two huge setbacks with that late injury to Nayef Aguerd and then that goal.
They were guilty of sloppy defending, a charge which has never been levelled at them so far at this World Cup.
Morocco's fans were originally quiet but now the cacophony is back. Incredible support and Azzedine Ounahi has given them encouragement by bringing that save from Hugo Lloris.
France 1-0 Morocco
This is all of the action from France leading up to that goal in the fifth minute. It didn't take much for them to go ahead in the game.
France 1-0 Morocco
Theo Hernandez's goal - after four minutes and 39 seconds - was the fastest in a World Cup semi-final since Vava netted in the second minute of Brazil's 5-2 win against France in 1958.

Tough start for the Atlas Lions. Hopefully Morocco stay calm and play their way back into the game.

France 1-0 Morocco
Morocco fans are furious they have not got a free-kick for what they think was a foul by Aurelien Tchouameni.
At the other end Kylian Mbappe is offside from Antoine Griezmann's ball forward.
France 1-0 Morocco

Youssouf Fofana has a big job in the France midfield tonight because Adrien Rabiot has been doing a good job in there.
