We've already had a number of players running up and down this side of the pitch to get themselves warmed up, but Chloe Kelly and Ellen White would be the epitome of game-changing substitutes.

Kelly sparked England's dominant second half against Belgium in the first of this trio of games and White is about as reliable as goalscorers come.

It will be interesting to see what Sarina Wiegman opts to do when it comes to changes after the break. This side has performed well but it's lacked the killer edge in front of goal.

Four huge chances for England. Still no goals. It's been frustrating in Zurich for the Lionesses.

That was terrific defending by Crnogorcevic. She's usually at her best at the other end of the pitch but she showed great awareness to deny Rachel Daly.

  4. CLOSE!published at 32 mins

    Switzerland 0-0 England

England win a corner and Rachel Daly is up to power it towards the net but Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic is back to make the clearance off the line.

The Lionesses record scorer is warming up. Surely Ellen White would have tucked one of those three early chances away.

Another drinks break. That's two in the opening 27 minutes. It's hot out there.

England are being made to work hard. Alessia Russo does well to beat her opponent and tries to find Lauren Hemp.

Nice run by Leah Williamson but she runs into a red wall. Switzerland have had more possession than their opponents but they will be keen to test Mary Earps more.

They lost their previous game 7-0 away to Germany. They have bounced back well so far.

  9. Bronze's absence evidentpublished at 17:21 British Summer Time 30 June 2022

    Switzerland 0-0 England

Adam Millington, BBC Sport at Stadion Letzigrund

With Lucy Bronze missing tonight's game through illness, the difference she brings to the side couldn't be clearer.

Switzerland have their own defensive issues, but they've been managing to find gaps in the England line and break through.

Not being able to use Leah Williamson in midfield has also been a major negative and England seem a little weaker in transition than when she can be used there.

The home fans are enjoying this. Their side are starting to settle and string some decent attacks together. England will still be wondering why they are not ahead.

Alarm bells in the Lionesses defence as the dangerous Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic goes up for a cross. It's falls just wide much to the relief of Mary Earps.

  12. Drinks breaks being usedpublished at 17:17 British Summer Time 30 June 2022

    Switzerland 0-0 England

Adam Millington, BBC Sport at Stadion Letzigrund

The players are having a drinks break only 14 minutes into the game.

Let's hope they're not having to pay the 5 francs which spectators are being charged for water.

Great attacking intent by the Lionesses. Their finishing, however, has not been so impressive. They should be out of sight already.

Mary Earps has had little to do. The keeper gathered a free-kick that was swung into the box. Other than that she's been a spectator.

  15. Russo starts wellpublished at 17:12 British Summer Time 30 June 2022

If tonight was Alessia Russo's chance to show that she should be in serious contention for a starting spot in the Euros, then her audition's gone well so far.

Some audacious footwork from the forward made the Swiss defence fall apart and she's just had an effort held on the line.

    And another chance...

Lauren Hemp's low cross finds Alessia Russo who sticks out a boot and the ball heads towards the net but the keeper just about does enough to keep it out.

Two big early chances for the Lionesses. Fortunately this is a friendly. Sarina Wiegman will expect those chances to hit the net during Euro 2022.

  18. CLOSE!published at 7 mins

Someone call the police. The Swiss defence has gone missing.

Another huge chance as Beth Mead lays it off for Lauren Hemp but she dithers before shooting straight at the keeper.

Fran Kirby cannot believe she did not score.

Take a bow, Seraina Friedli. That was an excellent stop.

  20. CLOSE!published at 4 mins

    Huge chance!

England have settled after that early scare and a patient build-up sees a golden chance fall for Fran Kirby but the keeper makes a fine block.

That looked like it was going in.
