Every time England overturn possession or break, there's a big roar from the Old Trafford crowd. Hopefully they can use that to settle any of the early nerves.

Austria are causing problems in the opening 10. They've picked England's pocket in midfield a couple of times and set off on threatening attacks. England's defence needing to be on point.

We're going to see that throughout the tournament as England countered from Austria's corner. Two passes into the final third. Fantastic speed from Mead and Hemp.

Bit too much on the ball forward for Hemp. The ball skips out of play. She's ain't that quick.

This start from the Austrians has taken the sting out of England. England wanted to get an early goal from that set piece, which was quite inviting from Lauren Hemp. Luzy Bronze was the closest player to it but Zinsberger read it. Sharp start from Austria.

No messing from Millie Bright. Her header is firm and clears the delivery. Lauren Hamp is sniffing around a counter again but can't get past her marker. She's lightning, though. Marking her would be a nightmare.

Georgia Stanway has been excellent [recently]. She's had a really fiery start. She's in the mix of things. Sarina Wiegman has a lot of confidence in a lot of players in this line-up.

We have a drummer people. They're currently hammering out the kind of beat that accompanies a stampede in Jumanji.

England yet to build a head of steam to perform anything of the sort.

The free-kick following the foul is whipped into the box - into the channel between keeper and defence - but out comes Manuela Zinsberger and claims before Lucy Bronze can take advantage.

I'm not being funny but this is the first time I've had fear of missing out since I've retired. I am dying to get onto that pitch. I've certainly got goosebumps right now. If I look out in front of me now, I'm seeing a lot of energy from the Austrians. They're definitely going to be up for this game. They're going to block up and I'm intrigued to see what's going to happen. Zinsberger looks up for the challenge.

All the smart money is on an England win here. Lauren Hemp is into the game, winning a free-kick with some trademark trickery.

Bit nervy from England as Austria make an early dart towards the England box. The tackle comes, though, and the home side avoid getting caught cold.
