Quote MessageExcellent from Gordon. Defensively, it's a shocker from Scotland. Hanley has been dragged out of position and it's almost a free-hit at goal.

It looked like it was missing by a few inches but Gordon couldn't take any chances.

Scotland boss Steve Clarke has been discussing his team selection pre-match.
On the inclusion of Aaron Hickey, Clarke tells Sky Sports: "I had in the back of my mind I could play Aaron [Hickey] at right wing-back because he's played there for his club.
"When I saw him in training I felt that was the best way to go."
Comparing tonight to Scotland's Euro 2020 play-off success in Serbia, which was played behind closed doors, Clarke adds: "It's going to be different. We handled that situation well, this time we have the Tartan Army with us."

Is that the loudest Flower of Scotland we've ever heard? It's right up there.

The image of Ukraine's players draped in their country's flag is incredibly powerful as they belt out their national anthem. A banner with 'peace' is displayed just a couple of yards in front of them, too.
What a message to the world.

Hold on, there's something in my eye... The Ukraine players and fans belt out their national song. A lot of raw emotion in the stands.
"Ukraine's freedom has not yet perished," is how it begins by the way.
Now, it's Flower of Scotland...

Quote MessageThis ground feels normal right now. It's a party atmosphere. You wouldn't think there's a desperate backstory to one of the teams. The Ukrainian fans, and there's lot of them, are joining in with everyone else. It's going to be spectacular and compelling, no matter what happens.

We are being deafened by Carnival de Paris screaching through the stadium speakers, and Hampden has just officially lost the plot. The place is bouncing.
Mental to think this is the anthem from our last World Cup appearance 24 years ago. Twenty. Four.
Is it time for a new generation of heroes?
Scotland v Ukraine (19:45)
Ukraine may have been soundly beaten by Scotland in 2007 but they do have happy memories of their last trip to Glasgow.
At last year's Euros, Artem Dovbyk scored in added time of extra-time to seal a 2-1 victory over Sweden in the last 16 of the tournament.
