Bukayo Saka looks to put daylight between the teams but after getting in behind Tyrick Mitchell, the Gunners winger hesitates to allow the Palace full-back to get back and put him under pressure. The angled shot, when it comes, flashes wide.

Joachim Andersen wins the header from the corner to head the ball towards the six-yard box. William Saliba kicks the ball against Jordan Ayew and the ball flies towards goal before striking Aaron Ramsdale. Somehow the Gunners survive.

Palace are making openings, so they remain very much in this.

Absolutely outstanding from Jesus again. It's not the goals but that energy that he brings the team, winning the ball back. Odegaard's just got to pull the trigger - he was trying to press it again.

The corner comes to nothing and then Ben White is shown a yellow card for dragging down Wilfried Zaha as Palace look to break.
