She's coming home. Home being Carrow Road, that is.

She has received a fantastic reception from the crowd just under a week since helping the Lionesses to glory at Wembley.

Then Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Scott Carson celebrates their most recent win away at Norwich City in March 2015

Norwich's return to the Championship got off to a poor start as they were defeated by Cardiff on the opening day of the season last week.

They take on Wigan who drew 0-0 with Preston having made a return to second tier football themselves, albeit via winning the League One title last term.

There are calls for optimism amongst the hosts' ranks today, however.

Wigan have won just once in their past six league visits to Carrow Road, with that victory coming in a 1-0 win in March 2015.
