    Norwich 0-1 Wigan

Milot Rashica almost equalises for Norwich pretty much from the kick-off.

He tries his luck with a shot from outside the box but his low right-footed strike is dealt with by a diving Ben Amos save.

Right then, we're back under way at Carrow Road.

Can Norwich get back on track against Wigan? Or are the hosts goig to see out what had seemed like an unlikely three points?

There will be a bit of disbelief from Dean Smith about how Norwich are 1-0 down after dominating the first 28 minutes.

He has a big 15 minutes to get something over to the team because they need to go back to playing like they did in the first 28 minutes.

Wigan have come here with a plan and Norwich have lacked that little bit of quaility to break them down.

We've played a game and a half now in the Championship and Norwich haven't created a clear chance for their main man, Teemu Pukki.

Like at Cardiff on the opening day, Norwich have showed signs of wanting to make things happen but haven't been able to make things happen.

The first half comes to an end.

And what a first half that was. Norwich dominant up until Wigan capitalised on an error from the hosts as James McClean gave them the lead.

Work to do for Dean Smith's side after the break.

    Norwich 0-1 Wigan

Todd Cantwell ambles his way to the touchline and jogs back onto the field having received some treatment.

He plays on. Maybe he can run it off.

    Norwich 0-1 Wigan

Todd Cantwell is down and looks in some discomfort. Replays show he rolls his ankle in a challenge for the ball.

There's a break in play as he receives some attention.

    Norwich 0-1 Wigan

Dare I say Wigan are playing a shrewd game, here? They defended well against a barrage of Norwich pressure early on.

Now they've slowed the tempo down and hung onto possession since James McClean's opener.

That goal has rattled Norwich and stopped the rhythm of their play. They had been playing some lovely attacking football but goals change games.

You have to given Wigan credit. They have come here with a plan and limited Norwich to shots from outside the box.

It's so poor from Norwich's point of view. For all their good play they find themselves a goal behind and now Wigan have something to hold on to.

GOAL: Norwich 0-1 Wiganpublished at 29 mins

    James McClean

    Wow.

Norwich get caught out trying to play from the back, Will Keane gets hold of the ball deep in the Canaries' half and plays in a fantastic pass to James McClean who does the rest.

He coolly slots home having been found completely unmarked on the edge of the box and Wigan are in front.

    Who saw that coming?

    Norwich 0-0 Wigan

Wigan almost take the lead against the run of play!

Will Keane does well to win the ball off Jacob Sorensen and the Latics break upfield.

The ball is played to Callum Lang who takes one extra touch before shooting low, forcing a save from Norwich keeper Tim Krul.

    Norwich 0-0 Wigan

Callum Lang almost scores a pretty impressive own goal as he deflects the ball just wide of the post as he attempts to pick up Dimitrios Giannoulis who tries to get on the end of a long Norwich ball into the Wigan box.

The hosts win another corner, this time collected by Ben Amos.

Norwich play their corner laterally and try again for the break from the right-hand side.

This is relentless stuff from the Canaries, who are hammering Wigan so far, but are yet to find the net.

But surely it won't be too much longer before their efforts are rewarded. Wigan are short of answers to their pressing attack right now.
